200K, awesome the 6.2 is a great motor. The funny thing is I went from a 14' to a 17' and honestly the mpg is not much better. I achieved 12ish in the 6.2 and 14ish with the Ecoboost. I now drive a 18' Platinum with a whipple 5.0 that gets 18ish granted it has smaller tires, higher geared rear...
Personally I’d hold out for a 2020, if
For that kind of coin I’d personally hold out until 2020 as the final year of the Gen 2 is supposed to offer a V8 option...hopefully a supercharged 5.2. That’s my plan at least, I sold my 17’ and currently drive a Platinum 5.0 whipple supercharged putting...
They 100% do, I had Firestone ride rite with daystar cradles on my 14' and the ride sucked! I eventually put SDHQ long travel airbags on it and they were awesome! Unfortunately SDHQ does not make them for the GEN 2 so the SumoSprings or Timbrens are the best thing out there at this point.
SumoSprings will still be of benefit even if you want to change leaf packs, they almost eliminate rear sag whether you have stock leafs or aftermarket, been the best $275 Ive spent
Pick up a set of SumoSprings, they take 10 min to install, add 1000-1500lbs of capacity depending of the model you pick and have no affect on the daily ride. Way cheaper than adding new leafs.
I have a enclosed ATV trailer and travel trailer both of which weigh in the 6500-7K realm when loaded up. I would not recommend going with a trailer with a dry weight over 6,000lbs at the very most. The listed weights are always off and Raptors after all have soft shocks not really meant for...
I have a brand new set of 4 for sale, I bought them for my 17' then traded it in on a 2018 platinum 5.0 thus the wheels are still new in the box. Ill sell all for for $500
Ben
I have SDHQ Long travel air bag setup that will allow for up to an additional 5000lbs of towing and/or 2000lbs of payload. The system is amazing in that it 100% has zero effect on wheel travel and impedes the suspension in no way except when in use. The rear supports also act like rear trailing...

I since some sarcasm lol. The Canadian dealer said they actually get screwed on new acquisitions as they have a market of 35mil vs 350 mil. The conversation got started by me asking what was new coming down the pipeline and he said Fords new 7.3l and the GT500. I asked what trucks the 7.3 was...
I think it’s fun to share intel although mine may not end up panning out its interesting to hear what the car dealers are hearing. I’d be shocked if Ford doesn’t put a V8 back in the Raptor since supposedly Ram is going to drop a hellcat motor in the Rebel. Anyhoo only time will tell.
Agree, may not know what he’s talking about or just eager to stir up business. Obviously he didn’t present me with a letter from corporate but he told me corporate told him the new 7.3 will obtain better foul economy than the outgoing 6.2 and will make its way into the Raptor first and the upper...
On vacation in Costa Rica and was talking to a Canadian Ford dealer he told me the 7.3 is going in the 2020 Raptor. He seemed pretty confident and answered the question without hesitation. Guess we will see, makes since though as that’s how they moved from the 5.4 to the 6.2. I’d be stoked to...
Offset is listed as +12mm they will sit even with the fender flares,
slightly wider stance than stock. I apologize for the delay in replying I was out off town on vacation in rural TN and had no reception or WiFi for 10 days.
