That is correct. It did not happen in my 2010 during the time I owned it, but it did in the 2014.

I knew there was a chance they'd start to rust over time, just didn't expect it so soon into owning this one. 4 1/2 years into a trucks life seems early.

My wife mentioned running them without the ring to. I agree with you that wouldn't look to hot. I'll just wait until I have working rings one way or the other. The original rims are perfect, so no reason to rush this.

So based on this video, I'm wondering if the OEM off road ring comes with hex head bolts instead of the allen head screws that are available on the ford racing site. Can anyone confirm what the beadlock ring comes with? Thanks
