I concur. I've owned both generations (first one was a Stage 2 Roush Raptor) and I refuse to pay these absolute bullshit ADM amounts. 5 to 10k was bad enough for its time, 30k+ is literal robbery.
Ford should be doing far, far, more about this.
In my case, I'd like a Raptor R and can more...
It was fuse 27 as others are saying. I replaced it and it never happened again.
Still don't know why Ford never issue a recall for this - was freakin scary to have the truck just flat out turn completely off while driving.
All I can say for mine (its in the shop now) is I had complete power loss at about 16k.
Noticed the rattle last summer on startup and it was intermittent up until now. Some starts were really bad. Between when I first noticed it and now, I had two separate incidents where the CEL came on while...
Welp, add me to the list.
2018, about 16,000 miles, and its sitting in the shop torn down to have the cam phasers replaced.
No tunes, no mods.
Oh, and the A/C Compressor also shit the bed and blew or something, so its in there for that too -_-
Can't help but feeling that I should have never...
Yup. 2018s definitely can be accessed remotely.
I'd almost guess the guy is trying to get into your truck and hopes you'll accidentally hit accept one day.
Corsa's exhaust sounds pretty good but I'm interested to see what MBRP does here.
That said no matter what you do it's gonna be hard to get a TT V6 (or any V6) sounding "great".
That's a pretty shitty fix if you ask me.
Ford could have came up with a kit to better solve this than some tape and grinding down the b-pillar trim
I think for the price you're better off getting a tune.
JDM does awesome work with their tunes and it massively changes the pedal response. I had their tune on my Gen 1.
I don't see why some of you guys think its fishy. 19s are coming out with some improvements, so it only stands to reason dealers will want to clear their inventory.
I just bought my 18 for almost 5k under sticker, pick it up this weekend.
Wait, a Retrax from a 2011 works on the Gen 2?
If so that is awesome - I have one on my Gen 1 and picking up my Gen 2 this weekend. Was freaking out of the cost of a new one.
I've suggested this in the other threads - but you guys should submit an NHTSA safety complaint online about this. Having a vehicle simply shut off while driving is a HUGE safety issue.
Ford is playing it loose by making this a TSB and not a recall, and playing games with their wording of the...
I just had my truck do the shut off while driving thing and think it's tied to this. Reading through the other threads for fuse 27 quite a few people have had this same issue.
I'd seriously suggest we all slam the below NHTSA Vehicle Safety Complaint form as the truck can completely turn off...
Battery defnitely isn't it. It's a year old Odyssey and voltage is good / charging system is good. It's a 2013 Roush with about 70,000 miles.
I did some searching and it looks like it could be the fuse 27 thing. I have the kit at home to do it (hasn't been done yet). About to bust out the...
Anyone had this happen before? Any idea what it could be?
When driving into work today, I went to make a right hand turn into the parking lot and my truck just COMPLETELY shut off. I'm talking, steering wheel locked (no, not even like just the power steering was lost - LOCKED), all...
Just a heads up, if anyone needs their shocks rebuilt I'd be more than happy to do them
I'm in FL.
Any option the other re builders have I can do as well.
Just did mine so if anyone is interested just send a PM. I'm working on acquiring used ones to start up an exchange program.
Well, you asked for a "fair" price. A "fair" price would be about 7 to 10k under MSRP for a used 17 right now. That's not far off from invoice on a new one.
A dealer asking for ADM or even near MSRP right now on a used 17 is double dipping, and shady as shit doing a "rinse and repeat". You know...
