Put a couple thousand miles on the truck. I found that mine started to run better and felt stronger after about 1500 miles. And after you have it a while and you get more used to driving it, I think the truck will feel better to you.

Very good info for everybody who has to take the skid plate off. Before I took mine off I sprayed the bolts with HD silicone oil. And then put anti seize on the bolts before reassembly. Start all the bolts by hand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The other GEN 2, I have seen came in on the same carrier as mine. And both are SCABS.

That would be great ,too bad it can't be done. I got to see my truck being unloaded from the carrier and I feel lucky for that.

Very honest sounding review, I agree with your observations. I owned a 2010 Scab, 2013 Screw and really liked both. But as great as they were my 2017 Scab is all that and so much more. Thanks for the write up and the pictures, looks like you guys had a blast.

Around Erie,Pa. owners will wave sometimes but I think most of the time they just don"t notice you. When I see a Raptor coming from the opposite way I flash my lights.

Around town the transmission upshifts to a higher gears quickly. I find if I'm driving in town I just lock out 7-10 and it stops the low rpm condition.
