Awww man...I was even in in this thread earlier. Too many hits to the head I guess! I do like the Corsa sound....a bit loud on cold start but sounds good when you stomp in it. Not too raspy for me. Good luck with the D-fit.
Hey Titanjc.... If you’re not decided about the setup that you want yet and are looking for a moderate sound that is not obnoxious but much deeper than stock.... check out the corsa Sport muffler. Nick had recommended it to me and I love the sound. Strictly a muffler replacement so the...
I just installed the Corsa Sport on my 2020 Screw. Had originally thought about going with the Borla S type but then heard it in person. I found it to be too loud for my “tight wad” neighborhood...and the wife agreed. So went with the Corsa Sport 3” muffler replacement only. Best option for...
Finally installed the new Corsa 3” muffler ungrade!! If I knew how to upload the before and after videos I would share with you all. Will need to have a kid help me out....
I’m so annoyed with this high beam trigger thing! Is there any way to get to the trigger wire behind the driver side headlight without having to tear apart the front end of the truck?? Passenger side is a mess and I hear the driver side is easier...
Just ordered my new Corsa sport exhaust!! Can’t wait to finally get rid of the “camry on crack” sound this 2020 puts out! Thanks for help Nick at Apollo-Optics....just placed the order and it’s already on it’s way!
Thanks for the feedback guys. I’ll have to try this Baja mode when I hit the woods next weekend. Sport mode was fun this weekend...just don’t care much for the shifting points in that mode. So Baja mode is even more responsive than sport mode?? Good lord this is gonna be fun!!!
Hey Apollo Optics.... RCA Garage has your price beat by $40 on the #14398 Corsa muffler. Would prefer to deal with you...not sure about this other place. Need to hear from asap though. Anxious to add another mod!!
Hey Nick,
thanks for the videos. I do like the sound...just worried about being too loud. You mentioned the Corsa sport muffler replacement and keeping the stock resonator? What are you impressions on that set up? Deeper sound than stock but a touch louder I suppose? Can you share a link...
Drive it like you stole it brother!!! I have been beating on mine since the first week and I am still impressed with it every time. The first scratch is always the hardest one to take.....
I'm feeling kinda similar to "Oldfart".... although my last truck was a Gen1 2012 Raptor and I loved the truck...it was a beast, I do indeed notice a distinct difference in suspension. Far more comfortable ride in this Gen2 than the Gen1 on rough roads. One issue I do have however is the...
I have heard that the corsa is just too loud and raspy. I'm sure with the stock resonator still in place that the raspiness would be less offensive but I’m still wondering if the overall sound would be to my liking versus the Magnaflow or Borla S type? I hear Magnaflow is one of the deepest...
Yeah that’s possible. I want the deeper sound but not sure I lose the resonator. If I remove the stock one, I’ll replace with the magna flow or borla resonators. Still not sure which way to go on the exhaust. Probably just mid-pipes with muffler and use resonator in place of X-pipes.
Nick... here is that post I was talking about. “Sethrab” never did respond when asked if he had used the d-fit muffler. I would like to have a deeper sound without the “wake up your neighbor” loudness and certainly want as little or no rasp as possible. Leaning towards Magnaflow and then...
I will have to search for that post...not sure what thread it was on. It was posted May 11th by “Sethrab”? but can’t seem to find it right now. I would like to stick with the Magnaflow setup. I hear that the sound is nice and deep, with less “rasp” and annoying volume.
here is some light reading for you...
I believe the Eibachs are considered more of a Linear spring whereas the Geisers would be more progressive.... I think?!?!? Lol
Linear-rate coil spring
A coil spring with equal spacing between the coils, one basic shape, and constant wire diameter having a...
