Ok international auto shows over no v8 I’m ready to hunt. From observation my dealer gets 2 a year around oct-dec. so I can go in and order a custom retail one beside their dealer allocated 2 and it may or may not get a build date?
If no news of a V8 comes out of the international auto show in a couple weeks I’m def starting the hunt for an 18 or 19. Not getting my hopes up, if there’s a v8 it will probably be a twin turbo and at least 100k :(
Anybody know if year 3 means they will actually make deals on these bad mothers?
Fords and jeeps seem to attract the same buyers. Sittin on a 17 SRT just waitin for raptors to become more accessible, or a V8 whichever comes first ;) Good hunting sir!
If i had 3 or six or 12 houses I'd maybe do it for the first one. something doesn't sit right with me when consumers are made to compete, the dealers should be competing to sell better trucks to more people at the best price. I could be wrong, it is a new hot shit pickup. Maybe just wait...
I'm in the same dilemma, picked the SRT jeep. I'll look at raptors when the warranty is about to expire and all the kinks are worked out of the raptor. So far I've read about rust on the axles on delivery, condensation in the headlights and some transmission issues and clunks so far.
Uhh just saw a video where where a guy put a go pro in the engine compartment... are turbos supposed to be red hot? When he would get on it they would turn red hot.
Kinda dissapointed with the 0-60 but those are heavy tires. I dunno why I thought it would be faster than the wife's new SRT jeep. Well I'm waiting till 2019 v8 or not. Can't wait to see what the aftermarket guys do for it.

Heads up not cal guys! My bro said he drove by and they were unloading. Think they will stick to msrp or bait n switch?
Do your guys gen 1 look that clumsy going over whoops? I dunno what I was expecting it looks just like a big truck maneuvering hills. Just doesn't look as elegant as the professionally filmed marketing from the ads.
The more I think about it the more it seems that those numbers are just adequate. More than was expected but adequate for the weight and tire size of this specialty vehicle.
Yes!!!!!! Now that numbers are confirmed do you guys think the components are more shared with the GT than originally thought. I know RPMs are gonna be different but how much do you guys think can be squeezed out of a tune?

Prepare yourselves gentlemen. Thought I'd leave this here for people to get an inside look at some sales tactics. I found it inciteful, just do some digging.

i wouldn't be surprised if it was the same engine. Who knows what stupid reasons ford considers when pricing a 450k car. Materials are probably a lot but i bet most of that is marketing inflation. You have to have x amount followers on social media to even apply to own.
Wouldn't be surprised...
