I just had the same thing happen to me on the highway. Hit the gas, pedal dies, low oil pressure warning, and indicator shows no oil pressure but truck still runs. Stoppped put it in PArk and restarted. Rushing to a meeting so can’t mess with it but won’t go over 4K rpms while in park. Not sure...
All seems fine so far. Issues seem to arise when I change the setting on the PC, I have left it in sport for a couple of days and no problems, but I think it may have to do with the transmission software learning in different modes. Not throwing faults, but weird shifting patterns and gear holding.
LOL ya I figured I would get funny looks in the service department, so Im not the best one to investigate this issue. These other folks do seem to have the exact same issue that I had, although mine was only on startup and not in the midst of driving. Someone mentioned it could have been related...
It happened a couple of days after install, and have not had the problem since uninstalling. Do Any other faults cause a completely dead/unresponsive gas pedal? The car would idle forward when in drive but nothing else.
It is true I had the problem the first time I restarted after...
So I had the pedal commander for a couple of days, hop in the truck yesterday put it in reverse and get a parking sensor fault, hill descent fault, and other warnings, and the gas pedal totally unresponsive, will only idle forward or backward. Restarted a couple of times with same result...
I really like it. Really don't miss the carbon fiber at all (removed it to expedite order). Not sure if the darker aluminum trim only comes with the accent package but it looks great.
Ive read a couple of reviews that didn't love the transmission. With ten gears, I would think a good portion of the complaints could be addressed with software updates. I wonder if that is even possible with this truck. After having a Tesla, its strange to think of not getting software updates.
I ordered the "hard" tonneau cover with the truck. I am hoping it is the type that folds not the solid-painted one-piece. Any photos of the factory "hard" vs "soft" tonneau covers? Thanks
Oops didn't see it on configurator got it
