Your truck comes with winter tires. I've run my truck through 30" of fresh snow without an issue. No, it wasn't in a field, it was on a road.
I doubt you'll face worse than that in Grand Rapids. Well, I did have one issue, the snow was being plowed up over the windshield which made it difficult...
Either you have the rattle at cold start or not.
Mine developed at roughly 41K, I am currently at 42K. It only manifests itself in my truck after letting it sit for a week or two, then only on the first start for 3 seconds or so..........It sounds like a diesel engine then runs and performs...
Mine started rattling a bit after sitting in the garage for two weeks or so without being started. I'd say two weeks of sitting should be enough to induce the rattle if you want to be sure. Regardless, you should get the software upadate if you go the letter.
I received my letter this week and...
I use Shell Vpower 93 in mine exclusively. Not because I have to, because I want to and I can afford it. Except in those rare instance when I am traveling and there are no Shell stations. Then I just use whichever station has 93 available.
It isn't like the chip shortage appeared suddenly out of no-where. Anyone ordering a truck this year should have expected to take delivery next year at the earliest. I sincerely doubt your dates are done moving. Which isn't to say none will be delivered this year.........
This poll is interesting, it shows just how good the G2 is and that there isn't enough new in the G3 to make folks blink. Very interesting. Doesn't bode well for sales.......
My Raptor is not tuned and it is a blast to drive. If your tunes are giving you "sport mode like performance" why bother with a tune? Hit the button for sport mode and don't risk damaging your truck and buy some lights instead.
Not worth the risk and the truck has more than enough power in OEM...
Ford has ways to locate a stolen vehicle when contacted by LE. Smart theives probably know how to disable, but I imagine smart + theif don't roll together very often.
I got 32K on my OEM K02's and was quite happy with that as they had some tread left and I wanted new tires for the winter. My truck is used on and off road.
They were replaced with an identical set of C rated K02s and the new tires are holding up just as well as the first set.
Not in my experience, you need to hold them accountable. No business wants this to happen to anyone.
Lawyering up without givimg them a chance to make it right is not the right thing to do.
According to Project Farm, WiX filters provde the best combination of air flow and filtration. I switched from MotorCraft to Wix. No issues.
If I recall correctly, these performance filters didn't stop anything in his testing.
