Luck of the draw and the right dealer who has pull with the Zone Rep. Can we have a picture of the CF.....or it didn't happen :)
Congrats !!!
For the rest of you...... I played golf with my Ford Zone Rep and I talked him into sharing the formula Ford uses to decide who gets CF and BL. Here it is:
CLEVER BOY! .... :) I'm in shock you estimate 4,000 VINS in the ETIS system that are unscheduled !!! Let's put that in perspective... we see a couple hundred here on the forums but all those others not posting here. That means Ford is really behind in their builds...and I'm willing to bet most...
Lots of good info here. I better stay away from the RZR as I don't want to be doing a bunch of maintenance. I also don't want to get my paint all scratched up on my Raptor from desert brush so I might as well get a side by side for hard core desert thrashing :)
I honestly don't know if I would do much rock crawling anyway except when I take it to Utah. The XYZ SS EE doesn't use a clutch...another reason why I want it. The manual paddle shifters look nice...both hands on the wheel. They do show some nice rock crawling videos with it in some review...
The more youtube videos I watch of these the more I want one. They look like a lot of fun. The 2017 Blue Yamaha YXZ1000R SS SE with paddle shifters and Fox bypass shocks looks like the winner to me. It will look great with my L. Blue Raptor. :)
I had no idea these RZR's were so fast!! I'm seriously thinking of buying one to pull behind my Raptor. Are they good rock crawlers?
Here is another Raptor vs. RZR drag race where the RZR smoked the Raptor. I wonder why such a big difference in the 2 videos...
I too ordered the L. Blue and I love the way it changes so many different tones of blue depending on the light. GREAT PICTURES !!!! only 6 more weeks of waiting for me......:)
He mentioned he's getting a SCAB, the scab does not have the double moon roof. It's my understanding it's a single and does not slide open, just tilts. Also should cost a lot less on the SCAB vs. SCREW.
I have moon roofs in all my cars and suv's and I personally love them. Even living in...
cool video. I have a Gen 2 Raptor on the way and MOAB is on my travel list this spring. I have to admit I'm impressed with the Power Wagon on the rock trails, I was not expecting that. Makes me wonder if I should lift my Raptor a little and add 37's. I was planning to add the RPG 1.5" collars...
Wow...those cars back east really take a beating from the weather and salt on the roads. That would be so disappointing to buy a 70K truck and see all that rust before you get it off the lot. i've seen a lot of posts of Raptors with rust from all the trucks that were held up for a couple of...
The Raptor is an F150, they are all built at the same time, same assembly line.
Check out YouTube video Ford Mega Factory F150 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aD_RHmM704&t=2272s
Cool stuff :)
I ordered my 2017 Raptor 3 days before I heard the announcement of the early build on the...
Did you guys see this other transmission failure post from a guy who was driving it home from the dealer. http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f260/transmission-problem-52712/
And these are only the cases that people took the time to post on the forums. I hope don't see a lot more of this.
It's my understanding ceramic coating will not prevent scratching. It will give you a very small buffer from light scratches. I'm looking into going for a clear bra in the areas that will be affected most from wheeling.
I'm wondering how the truck would be behave is my off road spares are a different size.
For example I want the Fuel Beast 17 x 9 +1 but my stock OEM wheels are 17 x 8.5" +34 offset. If I kept my OEMS as off road spares and had to use one while wheeling, how will the truck behave and can I do...
