Are you in a position where you can replace the PCM module with a new one, flashed for your truck? There's obviously a bunch of people out there with this issue and no clue on a path that gets it fixed.
Agreed. Learned this today when i parked truck at work and wondered why my lights stayed on.
I'm sure there is a setting, but Ford has not exposed it. Search the same feature on YouTube and you will find various manufacturers have this as a "High, Normal, Low Sensitivity" type setting in...
So, I find my auto headlights to be too sensitive - they are turning on and off during daylight depending if the sensor is in the direction of the sun or not. Anyone found an ambient light sensitivity setting that can be adjusted? Need to turn it down like 10%....
Thanks.
Wiring is definitely the trick.
The radio is wired directly from the battery, punched a hole in the grommet on the drivers footwell, and used a fiberglass cable fishing pole to poke it through. From there, under the door sill plastic, up under the passenger chair mount and out the factory cut...
I have the OptiCoat on my 17 Raptor - put it on about 3 weeks after i bought the truck. So i can tell your first hand what its like to wash the truck before and after the coating was applied.
It's a night and day difference in how long it takes now to clean the vehicle. I live where we have...
So, in prep for the arizona raptor run coming up this weekend, i have finally finished neatly installing my el-cheapo dual band race radio. It's a TYT-7800 dual band. I wanted a remote head unit, and this was the cheapest radio that met the frequency criteria with that feature.
Not real...
Just sold my JK Wrangler and after 10 years of waving at Jeeps (yeah, thats a for real thing) i kinda miss it... although it pissed me off pretty regularly. i dunno. do what you want.
Nope. It's shaped to fit on passenger side only. Besides, if it was on driver's side out would thoroughly block the display from driver's view.

How'd a discussion about the tech package turn into a moon roof debate?
Tech package is awesome - i use the ACC every day driving the freeway 12 miles to work and 12 miles home. Love it. I like the second distance setting - seems like a good space for 65 MPH...
The auto-headlights and...
I honestly don't know. they are flexible, but like UHMD flexible, not rubber flexible. I think they will be OK with rock hits front to back, but vertically it'll suspect... too stiff to land on a top of a rock without the fasteners giving way is my thinking.
Time will tell i guess...
I love my other ProClip mounts, but the one with the huge bar across the dash for the Raptor doesn't do it for me at all. I went with a Panavise this time - have used before in my Jeep. 100% bolt on so it's not moving, and i combined it with a cheap PopSocket stick on mount, but that may...
Do you know somewhere trustworthy in the Phoenix area to get ceramic costing done? I know of Detail Boss in Scottsdale who will do Ceramic Pro Gold (at a price to match!), wondering if there are some others i should be looking at.
Thanks!
How much are you saving by going 801 and then adding 4 and 5 major options? seems like your saving maybe just a couple thousand...
Looking forward to the adaptive CC....
