This will not net any appreciable gains for the money spent... plus, you will destroy the sound of an already borderline stock exhaust.
Leave it alone and buy an extended warranty if you plan to put more than 36k miles on it. Ecoboost is NOT known for reliability.
Nope - this upgrade is actually a downgrade. You will not realize bang for the buck, or an improved sound. Buy an all inclusive extended warranty if you have the itch to burn money.
Agree. The salty assholes that paid MSRP + are now realizing they screwed up badly.
You did just fine buying this, but do yourself a HUGE favor and keep it 100% stock so that the warranty will remain intact. You will need it. With your low purchase price, you are set up well to trade off when...
But it's still the 3.5 ecoboost. That is the problem.

You never felt a bouncy, jittery rear end.....
Nice NASSHOLE.
Not the injectors.... the VALVES. This revised DI helps keep valves from coking. The injectors are still prone to gumming up. The Chevron with Techron cleans and lubes them.
They do... it will be well worth it!

Give it time. Once they get miles on them and break out on the trail with the regular, known ecoboost problems, thoughts will change.
You will be sorry when this v8 comes out. Trust me, we are all working hard to get it out there. Ford realized the mistake they made and is working with us to get this released sooner rather than later.
