I just broke my Roush belt while on vacation. Belt had right around 50k miles on it and I replaced it with the Gates one. No issues yet other and it being an absolute pain to get it installed. If you have a ratcheting 1/2" drive I'm sure it would make it a lot better, the angles for setting the...
Welcome to the club. They're fun and just like you M and your GT3 you'll find tons of ways to dump money in the Raptor. Make sure you post along the way
Appreciate the love. I got a lot of compliments on the truck and especially the wheels this past weekend at the Tennessee game. Glad I went with the majority of people on here and got the NV's.
Funny that you posted this when you did. Just got back from a 600+ mile trip to Tennessee for the VT/UT football game. My sensor fault light came on as soon as I left my house and stayed on the whole trip. May be time to replace the battery finally. I've got a 13... so I feel like 3-4 years is...
My understanding is that you have a battery going bad in one of your sensors. If you have aftermarket wheels then it should be the sensor in your spare. If I'm wrong someone please correct me. Mine comes on every two weeks or so and then goes away.
I broke down and bought some NV's and put 35" open country rubbers on them. I needed new tires and I wanted to get away from the 20" Rockstar wheels that were on it when I bought it.
Before/After
You won't find a lot of love here for the Rockstar wheels.
That being said mine had them on it when I bought the truck and I honestly have liked them. The tabs are paint matched to the truck and I'm running Toyo AT's.
Tires need to be replaced and I was ready to try something different...
Was going to ask the same thing. Not arguing his statement, but I see this opinion a lot of places and it makes me worry especially since I bought my Raptor used and it had a set with the paint matched inserts.
Haha agreed. Honestly I'm trying to get it to work so I can sell it on eBay. They still bring in 6-800 used. So we'll say it's still in my truck for "testing" purposes.
Yeah, I've been all over the escort forums trying to troubleshoot it without actually joining the site. No dice on the power/mute or the other one where you hold three button (don't quote me on the three buttons, I'm not 100% but there was another button cycle that I found and tried to no avail).
Power button????
Joking, but yes. I've tried that, tried a power reset cycle, and also tried to hook a computer up to the USB but the computer just says "no detector found"
The original owner of the truck had the 9500 CI from Passport installed like it was supposed to be. The second owner said that it had worked fine for him the last time that he used it. Fast forward to now and since I've owned the truck (a month or so) and I cannot get the unit to turn on...
