I thought the truck looked great. Did it meet my expectations in terms of looks? Yes it did. Do I still think it looks better than a Gen 1? Not so sure. I think it's an even draw in my opinion. The Gen 1 still has something about it. Couldn't get a glimpse of the engine compartment...

I'll still take the Gen 2 Eco that is being put into the '17 Raptor than any of these engines. The only engine I would take over the new Ecoboost....would be a 5.0TT...but that ain't gonna happen.

What is this 8 cylinder you speak of in the Gen 2 Raptor? Please enlighten...

To the OP....you forgot: True dual 4 inch exhaust system. I'm also crossing my fingers and hoping for 500 horses.

I saw on Car & Driver....the front cover...500hp...take it for what it's worth...Let's hope its true. I think having 500hp.."Might"....make me forget the absence of a V8...I say "might".

Dude the new Raptor is gonna smoke your old Raptor.:baby: Better yet...I can't wait until the new Raptor lays waste to your old tech 6.2....non-forged pistoned, iron block...SOHC....hunk of junk.

Not to mention the Ecoboost has been tested at the Baja 1000. The V6 eco will put out as much power as you want. I think the engine will way above 600 horsepower potential via tune.
