I've had few installed and never even thought about doing it myself. Whatever route you take, I suggest wait a little. I ordered mine in late November, and I had part shipped to my dealer in drops. Finally I think mechanical parts have arrived, but instructions are missing and tune is still not...
It a long process. They sent kit that was not complete with hoses and pcm. Now stuff has been shipped I think ti should be at the dealer finally. It took good three months to get the kit.
I also got new hood, but manufacturer sent Gen2 hood ;-( it only took 4 months to arrive.
I have the kit and it is being still installed. Kit came without instructions, but my dealer has installed many GT500 and they are thinking they can do it without the instructions. Unfortunately I've been way to busy to come back to this and we are still waiting other parts to come in.
I will probably be one of the first ones to get as they supercharger will be the one testing partner has from Whipple.Just today I was told it is about a week out. So I should have more info in few weeks.
My R just arrived to the dealer and I’m wondering if the oil leak issue has been fixed by Ford or should I ask dealer to fix it before taking the delivery?
Can someone spill the details of what the leak is, so that I can ask dealer to have it checked?
Those of you took delivery recently do you know if you still have the heated steering wheel, but is is disabled? Or did Ford switch steering wheel to non-heated?
I agree. For me the goal is to try to retain factory type of sound system, but with better quality speakers. All speakers can be updated except the ones in headrests. I don't want to go full retard, but add more bass, kill all rattle and make the cabin more settle.
Found these on another forum. It looks like there is lot wiring ready and Soundsgood has products ready to build fully active system that retains all speakers including headrest speakers and roof speakers.
Do I get it right? For full active system there would be 4 channels front (two-way active both doors), 4 channels rear (active coaxial speakers both rear doors), Center (1 or 2 channels?) and Subs?
For center do you bridge the 2-channel amp or is the center actually two channels? Is center one...
Thank you for the info again. Will go through the video in detail foe sure! Great add!
Doesn't that mean that new speaker wires needs to be installed or there already are separate stock wires for the tweeters and mid-bass in front doors if I want two-way active system? Is it same for the rear...
My case is quite complicated. Just received my R to Orlando, where it will be built with tons of parts and then it will be shipped to overseas. Only to get the Raptor R has been such a long process. Which means I need to order parts, install some myself (in Orlando) and have professional to do...
Did you leave the signal processor attached to the rear seat rack or did you just use it to tune the system? When using Zen, do you have to leave the oem amp in place or does it replace it entirely?
Also, does your speaker adapters attach to the oem speaker wires and the to the crossover?
Consider it done ;-)
I lived in Ft. Collins for year. I travel to CO every now and then as I have friends living there, plus skiing it much fun there. One of the best states if you ask me.
Additionally I have two other trucks being built. They are older, but do you think if you can help me...
:-D Thanks! I will put together what I wish to do and list the parts that I have been thinking using. You can then point me to the right direction if I'm doing something wrong. More than
Before coming to Finland, you may want to decide what you want. If you want winter wonderland you should to...
So, as I have 2023 I'm fine with ZEN-A2B. Right? Do you usually pull new wires to the door speakers (I'm planning on upgrading them) or do you use the oem wires from the oem amp?
