Nope, I just don't like the queef pump of an engine and the pop can body. The 10-speed transmission and Auto-tune Off-road settings, I could also do without. I absolutely love that interior and would kill for an interior swap. Suspension's obviously upgraded too. Jenny would make a decent daily...
From what I've seen and experienced on lane assists in Infinitis, Lexuses and Porsches, they all suck. A lot of this new tech is a waste of time, effort, resources and productivity.
Still no excuse for selling a stock Gen 2 that's barely better in engine performance than the Gen 1 at a 15% premium over the Gen 1.
And barely better is arguable too. I prefer NA V8s over Turbo-ed V6s anyway. Now Turbo-ed V8s are a whole different story. Mmmmm
All that link explains is that the 'MENA region' advertised 421 PS is actually even less than 421 HP, which it is. 421 PS is really only 415 HP. The Jenny out here is absolute trash, and they're charging ~86,000 USD for a full option (everything but the rear sliding window) Jenny. Yay...
I don't know about everywhere outside North America, but the MENA region Raptor has only 421 HP, as already brought up in another thread back in May.

No, see, YOU are wrong.
1. Aluminum is LIGHTER, but NOT stronger than steel. The Raptor is NOT a 10 second drag racer. Who gives a shit how it corners on mountain passes or how quick it is off the mark. That's exactly my point. You are looking for quick and nimble (as you put it) speedster...
I had a Wrangler previously, so I'm OK with driving an FCA vehicle daily. I'll most likely be going the Power Wagon route as well, if Ford doesn't introduce a V8 for the Raptor.
You are absolutely correct. I am/was an addicted lurker since before I got my truck, but never quite contributed as I don't have much to contribute for the American/Canadian truck owners out there. I live in a sandpit where aftermarket products for the Raptor are scarce and hell, I don't want to...
Holy shit, I can't even tell if you're literate or not. 'Cause my response was pretty damn coherent. Its no wonder Jenny owners are a bunch of sheep.
Ford: HEY BROS AND BRAS, I GOTS A NEW RAPTOR AND ITS MADE OF ALUMINUM CUZ ITS JUST AWESUM! WE TOOK OUT THE BIG OLE' V8 AND PUT IN THE...
I'm not an automobile engineer, nor do I service my own Raptor. But have a read.
The Physics of Engine Cylinder-Bank Angles - Feature - Car and Driver
V8s are fundamentally more reliable and less maintenance, due to the difference in the inherent architecture of both engines. Now, of...
You, sir, are the epitome of the Jenny buyer. What Ford was aiming for. You are either a fanboy or dumb if you think a modded Eco-shit 3.5 would perform better than a modded 6.2 Boss. I have a stock engine and I'm happy with it, but I know there are lots of Raptor owners who have SC or Turbo-ed...
Lol. Or there are some of us that have enough money to have the Gen1 (bought new, of course) and several other NICER vehicles to use as daily drivers, and don't feel the need to upgrade to a better interior while downgrading to a shitty power-train.
We get it - Ford figured that most of the...
Nope. Went to Al Tayer Motors, and they confirmed that it's 421 PS. A quick conversion on Google brings that to 415 HP. One salesman tried to convince me that the US horsepower numbers are a different metric than the ones used in Dubai, so somehow 421 PS is the same as 450 HP?? Lol. Clueless...
You sure? Another website quotes the same. And it's a month older. Unless Wheels got it's numbers from them?

Seems odd, yet entirely possible for Ford to tune the engine differently for the GCC. Anyone from Ford that can confirm?
Wait, what?? GCC Specs only get 421 HP and 500 lb ft of torque?? Wow, talk about a ripoff at $85,000+.
