I think it depends on which nanny state you live in. I would not want to have to defend my actions here in the gay state of Oregon err rather California-North but in Nevada,,,just need to remember to double tap.
I would absolutely have taken this very seriously. Who knows what kind of liquid...
Thanks
I am going to do some measuring after Silver State.
Living in rainy Portland this would be a nice rust prevention piece

I think you can take them off without lifting or removing tires like how so many people get shocks stolen off their trucks.

I asked the wife and she said NO, WE CANNOT SLEEP IN THE TRUCK!! therefore, since I cannot trade my house in on this little beauty I will be forced to watch as it goes to some other lucky sob.
If you are thinking about tinting your taillights or buying smokedout tail lights then Diode Dynamics are a must have. Chris with CrownOffroad helped get a set of these to me in a short time frame and the lighting output is worth every penny.
Two thumbs up.
And RPG, Rogue, Outlaw or SVC will not fade to gray in a short time, which if you pay that much for a bumper it should stay black as night.
Notice the well kept black truck with a gray bumper.

Educating yourself on what to look for now is good. Understand what to look for in aftermarket mods so you can gauge how well the rig was built will help you save money on your purchase when you are ready

Just a consideration is all.
People are going to have a choice of two really cool designs.
Time will tell which is better, but smart money is with technology. But only after a year or two as the design gets worked over.

Don't forget the price point on the GEN 2 will be prohibitive to many so I would think that for the first two years the GEN 1 will hold value very well.
But in my opinion the only thing that really matters is do you still love your truck. If you do then it has a lot of value.

You want to buy those new from Deaver they are not meant to be reused. And for $100 it's cheap insurance

Fred
Sorry about the off topic post but it is sort of lighting related. Fred the truck in your signature, are the headlights tinted? They look awesomely blacked out.
I am not sure how that works, sounds simple but I would talk to a powder coater and get the skinny. I do know that to do it right they will need to strip the current coating down, otherwise the coating will not bond as well.
