I am not really comparing the Gen 1 and 2 stock springs. I am wondering if the Eibach Gen 2 springs will fit appropriately on Gen 1 Raptor front shocks... seeing as how the Eibach Gen 2 springs and the Geiser Gen 1 springs appear to be about the same height (length)... and you compress springs...
I think they'll work... but I am wondering if anyone knows for sure.
I understand that the Geiser springs are progressive... so are the Eibach springs to some degree... even if they are marketed as lift springs, and not progressives.
Just trying to figure this out before I rebuild my Gen 1...
Does anyone know if Eibach's 2017 springs will work on a Gen 1 Raptor with stock shocks? They look very similar to the Gen 1 Geiser springs, and as mentioned... are about $300 less.
If this happened to me, I would use cylinder numbering chart to determine which one is 5... inspect spark plug, spark plug wire, and coil on #5... if everything visually looked good, I would button back up and test drive. Still there... replace all 8 spark plugs with new ones and test drive...
Hello! Check nuts that hold wheels on to make sure they are tight. I would check your upper control arm bolts to make sure that they're tight. I had one that was loose (one of two on top)... and it created a similar sound. I would also check to make sure that one or both of your sway bar end...
Buyer Beware
I would avoid buying from Discount Tire Direct. They sent me the wrong wheels, at the $100 off per $400 purchased price and then didn't give me back all of my money when I returned the incorrect wheels to them.
Disagree.

2012 FX4 SuperCrew Ecoboost-Sold

My buds that own Ecoboost F-150s also disagree-I have asked them.
No sir. Only those:
-commenting that it was trademarked in December
-commenting that it may be for the Raptor or new Ford GT
-marketing aftermarket stickers and badges that say Ecobeast
Nothing definitive, and nothing from Ford that I have seen.
Ford tested the 3.5L Ecoboost in the desert in very much the same way. When that engine became available to consumers in the F-150, issues popped up for some owners... more owners than you might think. The majority of the issues were related to misfires and hesitant acceleration. You can find...
I know that it's a pre-production truck, but...
1. Anyone see Ecoboost or Ecobeast badges on it anywhere?
2. Anyone see under the hood?
3. Does anyone have video of it running/at start up?
Most of this is probably a "no" because much of the engine and exhaust is still in...
Not opening my mouth-typing actually.
I do race.
When you write that the Ford GT and Ford Raptor are getting the same engine, I take it to mean that they are getting identical engines, only differences being turbos and tuning. That's not true.
SERIOUSLY FORD, NO V-8 OPTION?
I have owned two 6.2 Raptors and one Ecoboost FX4 in the last three years, and am disappointed as heck that the next Raptor will not be available with a V-8 because I know better.
