If you listen to how Ford has described the purpose of the 35 vs 37" package, you'd think the 35 is better for going faster with longer travel and therefore a better option for the R. The 37 is for slower trails and rocks with less suspension travel, which doesn't require much hp anyway...
Is there more to the blue interior than the seats, sides of center console, and some stitching? Seems to me if you don't like the blue but want 37s then it would easier to go with factory 37s and then change the blue interior. You could sell seats, as they are really nice IMO. What am I missing?
on my 2019 with Live Valve I see the Raptor Status screen show 3 different suspension settings - Normal, Sport, Off Road - depending on drive mode selected.
I've read that the system can tell when the truck is airborne and will stiffen for bottoming resistance. Does that happen in all drive...
Bring patience, as you could be stopped on a trail for a few hours if the snow is deep or someone breaks down ahead of you. Someone brought a grill, some brought movies to watch, football to throw, guns to shoo.... oh nevermind. Hopefully none of that is necessary, but if you are 20 miles out...
Just made a few changes for first time to a 2019 then went on a roadtrip. I think I accidentally disabled the fake engine noise. I hear an exhaust droning sound from 60-75mph. It sounds like the fake engine noise may be off and I'm hearing more of the actual exhaust. My stereo also sounds...
Did you keep the factory skid plate behind the bumper skid plate? I noticed when bolting the lower skid over top of it, it doesn't sit flush, like it either needs to be removed or a spacer is necessary to make it flush without having to tighten enough to bend the metal.
How did you fasten the...
I’d like to know more about this also. Does a tune make normal mode feel like sport, and sport feel like super sport? Does a mild mode like Weather/snow also get juiced up? I could see where that could be counterproductive.
I'm in Cincinnati, Ohio. I prefer beadlocks, but can use regular style. Let me know what you have.
I have a brand new Ford trifold tonneau cover off a 1 day old truck for trade if interested.
Are 2019 wheels exact same size and bolt pattern as 2017-2018?
Has anyone changed the color of regular or beadlocks (to satin black), if so what is the most durable and cost effective way to do that?
I'm taking delivery of a 2018 soon and want to make sure that I check for all known potential issues before I sign the papers. Hate to feel a weird vibration or shifting pattern on the drive home.
Does such a checklist exist?
I just don't understand how the official Ford website can have such "mistakes" on pricing. All the fine print guarantees the price is the price. The whole point is to make the purchase process easier.
This has actually made it worse, as I was planning to go buy the damn thing today. Good...
Several 2018 Raptors in my area are listed on Fords site with a $4000-6000 discount. 3 local dealers responded after I expressed interest, all saying thats an error and the pricing is wrong. WTF?!
either Ford is making a lot of errors or the dealerships are failing to honor a discount. I...
you may be right. i notice that i can make the creaking sound (not really a clunk) with the truck off and just cranking the steering wheel.
so is the coming loose from the frame that I can tighten or loose internals that need to be replaced?
Dull clunk sound coming from front end that can be felt in steering wheel. Most noticeable when pulling into a parking spot and cranking the wheel half turn left or right. Its easily repeatable.
2013 with 58000 miles.
I'm about to crawl under it and take a look. Anything in particular...
