Spoke to the dealer and their is an ADM so looks like I’m getting a BMW X5M. Wild to me with the crazy rates and credit card losses, there are that many people spending $150k+ on a f150! Who knows what 2024 holds!
Sorry just to explain. My plan is to pay cash but typically dealers get a “bonus” from a bank if they finance a car to a customer so i offered that as an incentive if you will. It’s worked on other car purchases ( just need to make sure there isn’t a prepayment penalty on the loan). Think of...
Are people in smaller markets getting MSRP? I was about to order an X5M but just called my salesmen in Ohio (went there for my last Raptor) and and didn’t laugh me off when I said I’d do MSRP w prepaid service and I’d finance it (but pay it off after 6 months). He’s going to give me an answer...
In history the amount of ADM cars that crashed are extensive.
I’ve never bought a car and thought about depreciation as it is what it is. If someone has $110k+ to spend on a pickup….gas, interest rates, depreciation aren’t part of the conversation.
I don’t judge people who spend on an ADM it...
Ford is in the business of making money and they don’t care about resale. They will build a lot of these as they are the most profitable F150. With a coming recession that will hit “pickup truck buyers” if someone has patience, in 12-18 months these will most likely follow the same discount path...
6-12 months from now you have a very different US economy which will take out most of the people who would “reach” for this vehicle.
When the TRX came out keep in mind they had ADM’s. Heck my 2018 did in NJ but….I went to Ohio and got it $3k under MSRP.
This isn’t going to be that rare at...
While I can afford the new MSRP, for what it is….. at $111k (to start w destination) in my view it’s over priced. I got up at 6am thinking if it was $90k base I’d be in. Think about it….when it arrives at dealers during an “economic downturn” I feel like there will be discounts….. just like...
How can you be sure the used ones have a lot of life left? regarding rebuilds, I see so many early failures with those. Would you agree to stay away from a rebuild?
Hey so I sold my 2014 to a friend a few years ago and he needs 4 new shocks. 3 for sure (he got 100k miles!). With coronavirus he’s laid so he’s trying to be budget conscious. He will never off road btw. Any recommendations for something cheaper than OEM fox? Thanks
I have a 2014 Raptor with about 80,000 miles and one of the shocks is leaking so the dealer advised me to replace (at a high cost as you know!). My question, I have been reading about the rebuild companies out there and I see some mixed reviews as it relates to durability with the rebuilds. I...
It's funny when I got my gen two and had it next to my gen 1 I said to myself "wow the gen 1 looks so old". Just a matter of personal preference but I think the lines on the 18 are far more muscular.
I am day 3 with the truck and loving it. My two cents- I prefer this engine way more than my 6.2. I think it feels like a V8 and pulls like a freight train with zero lag. My only complaint is the rear does feel like it wants to break lose a lot more than my 2014 and on uneven roads, even in a...
