I have the HID headlights and I'm wondering if the four pods would help at all with 100w Xenons (halogen) in them or if they would be virtually worthless? I would like to go LED and probably will, but I have his setup sitting in the shop for free. Was wondering if it would be worth throwing on...
Not even considering getting rid of my Raptor, but the only pickup to really pique my interest is the new Nissan diesel. Ugly as all get out, but I really like the idea of melding the half and three-quarter worlds. No word on how they will perform/last over a lot of miles though...
Haha wow! Can't believe I haven't seen your thread before. I've been wanting to do full hood and roof in military green for a while, but just can't commit because my pickup has the stock black bedsides...
Maybe you need a new dealer?
My service manager has bent over backwards for me on a few occasions without asking. Everyone needs to find a shop like that!
This is the sole reason I will not own a new vehicle that isn't a Ford.
I noticed my stock BFGs were cracking out between the lugs on all 4 tires the other day. So when I brought it in for a service I mentioned it to the service manager. Michelin wouldn't touch it because I'm technically the second owner. (Bought it with 2k miles...) Ford bumper-to-bumper came up...
Ordered a set of NVs. I was planning on just transferring my stock tires over until they wear out. I bought the truck used with 10,000 miles and I'm pretty sure they weren't rotated until I got it. I have rotated them twice now (18,000 miles) and the wear is balancing out a lot better... My...
Had the Dynapro ATm's on my 2013 Fx4. Wonderful tire for the highway, great road manners, wear very well, but as most true AT tires not great in the mud... Also they were designed off of their winter tire and are therefore a really good tire for winter driving. Probably the best tire I have...
I had them on my 2003 F150 crew cab. Great mud tire, good on the highway for a mud tire, they wear well, but like anything with big lugs, terrible on winter highways. Do well in fluffy snow though! I also found the sidewalls a hair soft and there was some roll at highway speeds when swerving...
Thanks phydough! I just need to figure out where/how to mount them then. Should I build a mount in the fog holes, or just get a light bar and stack them on?
