Recent issues withe the reverse camera on my Gen 1 with nav screen. The image is reversed and the guide lines disappeared. Is this a setting I can't find??
I finally threw my hands up, surrendered and had it towed to Ford. I WAS going to get a PCM from Napa but Ford parts Dept sells them for LESS than NAPA, AND they're blank so they need to be programed at Ford so either way it needed to be towed, so I gave in.
GLAD I DID!!! Problem was the wiring...
Cleaned the battery posts, put it back in and it turned over but no start. Rescanned and am now getting "P1636" & "P2107" which point to the PCM and would make sense to all that's going on.
Any chance it's a relay or fuse???
i miss my Ford EXP (first car) that had no brain....no balls either...
Yes i did. The 2 rears are the same # and the 2 fronts are different. BUT apparently that's not the main issue. Everybody telling me the O2 sensor shouldn't cause these issues. Maybe i should start a new thread and link this to it. Need to get underneath and take a look at wires and such.
Went to do a new scan tonight and before scanning I tried to start it and "click-click" typical dead battery sound. Went to get a new one and for S&G asked to test the old one. Hooked it up and according to them, it was fine. Full charge and close to the original specs.....so the mystery...
Tasca Parts lists 1 o2 sensor and says "front, rear, left, right" while other places call out different upstream/downstream part numbers. Local Ford dealer wont give out part numbers.
Actually, the battery is over 3-1/2 years old and a nothing special, MAX Wal-Mart battery. Never had an issue with those before so I'll just get a new one. Long trip coming up so I'd feel better with a nice new fresh one. I know that an O2 Sensor is bad so with the milage, I might as well change...
I will have to rescan it later this morning. I'm not sure my basic/pos scanner will tell me which O2 sensor it is. It's possible, i didn't know there were 4 when i saw the error. It's a 2010, 6.2 with Rouch CAI & Cat Back exhaust. it's got close to 120K so wasn't really surprised when i saw O2...
Hello all. I got a check engine light a couple weeks ago, ran the scanner and got O2 Sensor fault. Didn't think muck of it, but this past weekend I got stuck at the store when it wouldn't restart. After several tries I got it fired up but had to drive home in limp mode. Luckily it was only a...
Sorry, away from the computer for the weekend. No this is separate white and amber, hence the 3 wires.
I took one of my cubes apart and there's circuitry built into the board that controls the white/amber/white strobe/amber strobe functionality with a flick of the switch. If done within a few...
Hello. I got a new light bar to upgrade the original one I put in my bumper but the wires are different and not as expected. Similar to my 4" light pods that cycle through white/amber/strobe, this does as well. However, the pods do this automatically with the 2 wires (power and ground) by...
I just lost mine this past weekend, however I don't believe it was a key plug, but just a flip open butt-plug. I didn't even drop the spare, just noticed the empty hole today. Anybody else have a flip open cap/hole? Sounds much better than the $150 cheesey key lock one. If so, part number??
I'll tell you, from Ford service! My 2010 6.2 is there right now for a check engine light warranty fix. They just called me and said that because it's @ 90k the plugs should be changed while it's there. I asked for a quote on it; roughly $8 a plug plus about $300 labor. That was assuming none...
No I don't t believe so. I've heard the sucking sound from day 1 with the CAI. This is much louder, more high pitched dog whistle. I'm going to look at the exhaust. Thinking that a tiny crack or gap might cause this but??
Ford had it for three days and couldn't figure it out. Said that it's...
No loss in power and no idea if turning makes a difference. This would be under load in a straight line...light turns green, mash the gas, RPMs go up, whistle from underneath @3200. Chances are if I was going to turn I'd let off & RPMs would go down = no whistle.
I will add that every now and...
I had the tensioner replaced as well as the AC compressor. It did it before and after. The noise starts at about 3200 and is a constant squeal/whistle. If you gradually get it up there it's less noticeable than a jackrabbit start with hard acceleration up to/over 3500. Very noticeable when you...
I’ve been hearing a high pitched squeal coming from underneath while under hard acceleration. (2010 6.2) Typically I hear this in 2nd /3rd when the RPM gets up over 3k. I brought it to the dealer and they said it was the belt, so I changed the belt but the sound remains. Worth mentioning that I...
I need to remove mine next weekend. Yaaa....I had them rebuilt by hygear last August and they're shot after about 10k of daily driving. Have been bad for months but no time to swap in my spare set. Are you guys replacing the springs when you do this? I've got a tick over 80k on the truck. Didn't...
I just got the harbor freight 1750 for $75. Plan on using it 95% for washing the trucks. Also ordered a foam cannon with quick disconnect from eBay for under 20 and a Ryobi "replacement" wand from an online tool store for 12. The Ryobi wand will plug into the HF gun and has the quick connect on...
There are so many home remedies and "this is it" fixes out there it's hard to know what works and what is a bunch of BS.
My side windows, mirrors and sunroof are so bad its reducing visability...Placing order now! I'll update this post with results. Maybe even do a video depending on results..
