What you are looking for is the Bakflip. it flips up out of the way of your bed but blocks/protects the back window, depending on how you want to look at it.

got 17 ish from OKC to salt lake city doing about 75-80 most of the time. I also get about 15 around town.
That being said i got 12-13 MPG on my GEN 1, on a good day if I kept it under 72 Miles per hour. and god forbid I was towing somthing.
yep I went back in april. It was Great! I learned so much about our trucks and I got to drive a raptor like it should be driven. not the one that I actually own.:win:
Timbren didn't want me cutting the stops as had somthing to do with the integrety of the material. so now that they sent me the 4.5 inch versions I have three to pick from.
the 6 inch ones for really heavy loads
the 4.5 one for every day driving and light loads
and the OEM ones for...
Received the 4.5-inch stops and make a huge difference. I do not feel the stops when just driving down the road but the truck does not squat way down when I hook up the 7000 lbs trailer.
this is a temporary solution until I can get a SVC or RPG solution
although this does work.
After owning a raptor I am not sure I could own another truck. I don't need a monster towing truck I just need to tow about 7000 lbs, yep raptor does that. I use it for Hunting so I need to go places that have mud, snow, ditches and loose dirt, Yep the raptor does that and I get to pull my...
got it on mine although that is the way it came. I did not order mine the dealer called me and said to come look at the new 18's that they just got in so I had to take what they had. I love mine though. I don't open the glass much but we love the openness of the cab with it.
Nope that was not me. I know where the up wires are. I was just having problems figuring out Paypal. I tried to send the monmey and then it didn't work. I had to be signed into paypal before I clicked on your link. When I did it the other way it didn't send the money. never had that problem...
called Timbren and they are sending me some 4.5 in stops. when I called the guy on the phone made it seem like they were having discussions about the size of the stops that come with the kit. they sent em the 4.5 inch stops for free, and they knew exactly what I was talking about.
I installed my Timbren the other day as I needed to do a bunch of towing. first off I can feel the bumps a lot more but it did eliminate the sag in the back in with my 7x14 trailer with about 5000 lbs in it.
Flagman who did you talk to at Timbren? I wish mine had a little more room between...
My new 2018
first thing i did was get the skid plate Line-x'ed
I did that on the gen1 I owned and it made the front end look way better. so got the rear wheel wells sprayed and the skid plate.
original 3.5 ecoboost owner
I came from a 2012 3.5 ecoboost FX4, the only time I go 20+ MPG was on long trips, most of the time I would get 15MPG commuting to and from work. For me that is 22 miles most of it freeway, if you can stay out of the throttle you can get the 20+ MPG, and if you are...
could you tell me what the relay and fuse where labeled? I have a 2014 raptor and things seem to be a little different #6 replay is the "trailer tow park lamp" and there is already a relay there. Now #9 is open and it is labeled "trailer tow battery charger".
fuse #21 is the trailer tow...
Trailer lights
I can verify all the comments in this thread.
I thought I was loosing my mind when I drove to Waco to prick up a new trailer and when I got there the running lights on the trailer would not work but the break light and turn signals work.
Checked the fuse panel and found...
yea so the bike I am trying to load is 600 pounds. its is not a little MX bike. I just feel safer doing it this way. and I don't need the 2nd person as the winch is the second person, I am just there to steady the bike as it goes up the ramp.
