Well, the Raptor I built out came out to $80,010, and when I build out a TRX the way I'd want it I'm at $84,000. Considering I'm getting a better interior and 700+HP motor, I'd say that the difference is negligible. Also, there's a few TRX dealers that you can order from and get $5500 or $5000...
I'm a long time Raptor owner, so I love the Raptor and the brand. At first I was totally in disgust with the TRX and in NO WAY did I like it.. and in no way would I consider one over a 2021+ Raptor! I've always thought the Rebel was ugly and I'm somewhat of a Ford loyalist also. Ram? No...
Greenway Ford in Orlando had 3 2021 Raptors advertised without the markup last week .. called them and they were all $10K ADM. all had Vins and scheduled build dates. They all sold for the $10K over from what the sales guy I was in contact with said.
I ordered back in June from a dealer that advised they had an allocation for me for a 2021... and I have NOTHING right now. Very much sucks, but it seems like my normal luck with dealing with any Ford dealer.
I mean, I enjoy seeing everyone else getting their VIN's and window stickers (and...
I have mine well spelled out in text messages and emails with a reputable dealership that doesn't play games. No deposit for me either. If I get burned I'll be surprised.. and I doubt they will want to get trashed all over the internet since they haven't yet (like most dealers have).
True, but the production numbers on TRX's is through the roof!! I have a local Ford dealer telling me they are getting one Raptor R this year. ONE. My Dodge dealers around me are getting 3+ TRX's a month (they are all sold before they come in though). But steady numbers on $90K trucks will...
Huh? Have you seen how the TRX puts the power down? It's impressive. I had a Gen1 Roush supercharged with 600HP and I had plenty of power everywhere but couldn't plant it. Of course it would be best if RWD and AWD was selectable for the times you did want to slide around...
I told my wife they are delaying Raptors and she joking said "might as well just wait for the "R" now!!". Or maybe she wasn't joking. But the joke is on me because I need a truck now, so much that I've thought about buying a Limited or Platinum to hold me over... but you can't find those either
I've never seen such a mass exodus from a specific car forum as I've seen with owners trading their Ford Raptor in for a Dodge TRX! I've been a Raptor owner since Gen1 and the Raptor following has always been strong.. but there was no real alternative until the TRX.
Now with the TRX, I see...
This is just making me want my truck more... lol. I hate the wait!!
The black interior looks fantastic, and why wouldn't it? It's the blue that doesn't make sense, especially with some exterior color choices. But if I'm being honest here, I wouldn't let it stop me from buying a 37" PP and...
All these people with 2020's trying to talk themselves out of a 2021 LMAO.
First, if you bought a 2020 you knew the refresh was coming and did it anyways... so any way you can justify your purchase, I'll go along with you ;).
There are SO many things to like about the 2021+, and while it's...
LMAO. No. I don't expect nor will I pay $20K over. We'll see how it pans out. But I can currently get a TRX at MSRP and there are strong rumors that the TRX has done so well that Dodge is talking about a "Redeye" TRX (787HP).
While I love the Raptor, the Ford dealers need to give me a...
Yeah like Honeybadger said.. this is not really a "new" truck in the sense like most new models are. Proven motor, and the new F150 platform has tested out the Tech and most other things to iron out the problems over the past year. I'm in the market for a new truck right now, so of course that...
I would have considered the 37” package more seriously if my ultimate intention wasn’t to trade up to a “R” when they come out. I don’t care for the 37” ADMs when I can get a 35” at MSRP and (imo) be sitting in a good spot trade wise for the “R”.
Shit I know the dealers around me that sell at over MSRP and those that have a policy of never going over MSRP (including GT500s, Bronco's, Raptors, etc.). I know of a few outside my area because I've bought a few Ford Performance vehicles in the past 15 years.
If you think they are selling...
Believe it or not, I only have 1" of clearance left with the 35". It's very close! No way I'd get a 37" in my garage. I've been lucky all these years to have a garage big enough to fit a Gen1/2, to be honest.. I know a few guys who can't get one in length wise also. I'm good to on that...
Right, when you add up the cost of the wheels, carbon fiber, and graphics which are standard on the 37" and compare it to the $$ it costs to option those on the 35", the difference is not that bad.
For me, I won't be able to get the 37" Raptor in my garage as where the 35" will. Being able...
The worst part of the 35" package for me visually is the ORANGE graphics package... unless you got Code Orange I'm not convinced it's going to look good. Also, the least they could do for us is show some stock 35" Raptors with the optional Black bead-lock capable wheels, to me that's a very...
