My biggest thing was making sure I had a seat cushion for my knee/chest when kneeling/laying on top of the engine while doing this. Surprisingly, for all the huffing and puffing I heard from people doing this, it only took me about 2 hours to do this. The hardest one, in my opinion, wasn't the...
Can’t wait for Ford to toss a performance oriented 7.3 in here and all the nuthuggers who don’t want to deal with ecoblowns out of warranty or trade them in with 1300 miles hop ship and nutswing off the V8 again.
Nope, they don't want to invest in V8's what so ever.

Oh wait.
Here's the thing, I'm a GM nut hugger. GM's V8s are far superior while still using "old school" cam-in-block motors than...
Then why would you or zombie put in an LS (mind you, the LS hasn't been in production since 2013)? I thought the Ecoboost was god's gift to Raptors? Why not replace it with another Ecoboost? Why replace it with something "in the other direction?"
Thanks for playing yourself.
Bought my second gen 1 with 56k on it and I'm at 92k now. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one at 100k provided the price is right and the PO took care of it. The only complaint I have is the chain tensioner rattle which has been documented to death on here and isn't an issue, just an...
I had the "squawk" fix done on mine under the CPO warranty. I had my truck approved almost immediately (although I took it in specifically because of the "squawk") and back in about 2 weeks so I wouldn't say 3 weeks just for APPROVAL is normal.
The other issue is that they had to wait for the...
ACM:
APIM:
Like I said, the APIM settings are only needed if you've taken the Sony amp out and done an LC or another processor to run amps. If you've just added the kicker sub, you only need the ACM settings.
I wouldn't have a clue where to start on that. Only really cared about the audio...
2015 F150s still had Sync 2/MFT so anything ACM/APIM related would be identical, I'd believe. It would be the BCM and other modules for all the new stuff that would change between 14 and 15.
The main changes are in 727-01-01 and 727-01-02 of the ACM, and 7D0-01-01 in the APIM. Here's the FORScan google doc everyone uses: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uDSQ1Z5a2Wt8-kjrSiVSlDFGFHnfeuhb3RTMVz95730/edit#gid=338817466
I'd have to check my exact settings but I turned basically...
Good call, this was non-nav as I have an iPhone and love CarPlay. I believe he has a nav version for $1199.
Bought it from this guy, breeves002: https://www.ebay.com/usr/breeves002?_trksid=p2060353
My first screen actually came cracked thanks to FedEx and he shipped me a new one couple days...
So I did this upgrade the past week, found a guy selling a non-nav Mustang version for $899 and eBay had the 15% off, up to $100 off. Got the whole setup, adapters, dongles, GPS antenna, and VIN coded for $799.
Plugged everything in and didn't change any of the as-built data (I'm assuming...
Take it in for service. Mine made the same noise on 6/5-3 downshift and 3-4 upshift. It was a "squawking" sound. They ended up replacing the valve body (which was cracked), OD cylinder, all clutches, and torque converter.
This was my first truck that was mid perch from about 3k miles and the entire time I owned it with stock rear leafs and the stock tires:
This was after SE beadlocks, DuraTracs, and Deaver's +3 while towing 3 sleds (I'd say about 350lbs of tongue weight). I kick myself everyday for getting rid...
Pull the cables off the battery and let it set for about 30 minutes. The trans learns how you drive so it might have the trans learned from the previous owner. Letting the computer sit without power clears and resets the learn process.
No kidding.
Just pulled my trailer 800 miles round trip to my buddy's cottage up north with mine and my other buddy's quads in the trailer and all of our gear and hardware in the cab. Absolutely zero porpoising the entire drive and smooth as glass the whole way through construction and rain. My...
So I just got the Deavers installed and holy shit. I should have done this 40k miles ago.
Not only does the truck feel more planted, I no longer get the stutter bumps when hitting cracks and divots in the road and I can already tell the wheel hop is gone. Took it on a back access road and...
