Does anyone else notice the exhaust intermittently going into normal when driving aground in quiet? I seems like fairly light acceleration makes it change to normal and then back to quiet when the gas is eased up. Just not sure if its expected to stay in quiet when selected?

Dealer texted me saying they received another R. This one is Black and no graphics. Asking $161K and will entertain offers.

Early on the question was possed if anyone would be towing with their R. I mentioned that I certainly would be. Tows the Sprint just fine. Although, I feel my add-on super charged '14 has a better feel.
I need to raise the receiver up one notch for the trailer to sit level.

So, thought I could simply hook my boat up to my R and take it for a test run after replacing the valve springs on my 466. Well, not so fast; the relocation of the trailer plug receptacle from below the bumper on the Gen 1 to in the bumper on all other Gen's left me about 10" too short on the...
Listened to that tray slide side-to-side on every turn. Added some split rubber edging on the rails to keep it in place. I know my Gen 1 has some sort of grip felt on the tray edges to prevent sliding. I wonder if they forgot to install something on the R?

I just got my 2014 Raptor back from the dealer for the subject. The noise suddenly appeared as I approached 29K and I thought it was just tire noise, as I get that weird wear on the fronts that allegedly, is common to the Raptors according to FORD. But after driving in the latest snow covered...
Decided to change my spark plugs since I'm just over 20K miles since installing the Roush Stage 2 SC. Following JDM's recommended change schedule and gapping specs, I forgot just how much of a pain it is to access the #7&8 upper plugs with the SC installed. The TB curved runner sits right over...
I stopped by the Shelby Museum today and someone’s Gen 1 Red 801 package Raptor was in the number one spot getting its upgrade on.
That place is a real treat to visit.

I have been wanting a cheap way to safeguard my spare tire. With all of the stolen spare stories I felt I should at least make an attempt to make it a little harder for someone to make off with mine.
I may have to lay on the ground to unlock it but that's better than not having the tire when...
Just wanted to share my cut out install and an product opinion. Why Doug's? The all SS design, unobstructed flow when open and gate style valve is why I went with Doug's. However, the Y cutout is the big disappointment for me. I knew this up front and ordered a SS Y cutout from Pypes. Now that...
Installed these tie down rings. Got them from Mopar Parts Overstock, RING RING-RETAINER #05104500AA for $3.44 each.
I modified my FORD mat with 3 1/2" holes to clear the rings. To align the cut out you can use lipstick or something similar to transfer the bolt center to the mat. I used a hole...
I did not know where to put this...
Skip to 6:53 to see the coolest car (truck) leaving there. Fun time :-)

Do the Shelby versions have anything done to the oil pump gears or the drive shaft? I know they have traction bars and some other suspension upgrades, but I was just curious if they have the same "recommended" MOD's as others with SC upgrades...
So, there has been some discussions about the topic in the Oil Separator Works thread. But, I'm hoping to get more feedback or ideas on what could most likely be creating the particles. The particles can only be seen in a concentrate such as the separator bowl and not on the dip stick or in the...
I just spent an hour trying to search this issue and I know it has been covered before. Cant remember if anyone has solved the problem that is not associated with FWD not fully disengaged.
I have noticed something pops once every now and then when turning out of my driveway. There is only a...
Well my Raptor is undergoing it's biggest personality change. When it comes out from under the wrench it should be wearing a Roush badge next to the 6.2L insignias. It's new personality will be a reflection of Team JDM's 700HP upgrade package and custom tune.
My 13yo son and I started working...
I was doing my first tire rotation and noticed some unusual tire wear on the fronts @ just under 6K miles. Took it to the dealer yesterday as they wanted to investigate the situation. They were quick to let me know that an alignment would not be covered under warranty as I was 20 days past the...
