The Blam speakers sound great and have very realistic vocals and overall sound. The build quality alone looks great. Speakers / sound can be a very personal thing so would suggest going to dealer and listen to them. The other variable is the JL Audio VXi amps are very customizable so you can...
Here is my setup..
NAV-TV Zen
JL Audio VX1000/5I & VX800/8I Amps (with separate Bass knob)
Blam Audio Signature 3 ways up front
Blam Audio Signature 2 ways in rear
(2) JL Audio TW3 12" subs with Mobile Toys behind the seat box
The amps went in the factory storage bin on a custom bracket and then I added a DU-HA storage box. Here are a few pics

I have the Mobile Toys behind the seat box with 2 JL Audio 12’s and my seat locks fine both up and down. I know my installer slotted the seat mounting holes a little to allow the seat to move forward but it was not much and you can’t even see it once installed.

Here is a pic of the door panel but nothing really to see. The speakers all fit behind the stock panel so looks like any other door panel..

I did a similar system through Signature Audio in Scottsdale, AZ. They used the Mobile Toys behind the seat box which I wanted as I did not want to give up under seat storage. I did (2) JL 12s, Blam Audio Signature S165.300 3 ways in front and S165.100 two ways in rear with a JL VX1000 and...
goblue38 the short answer is yes you do! I was in almost the exact situation as you. Had competition cars 25 years ago and a small shop doing high end cars with Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, Orion, PPI, MB Quart, Boston Acoustic, etc.. Have not even looked at the latest tech until this year and...
