yeah exactly that area and around the valor. Edges parallel to the door panel needs work. I am basically paying $2500 (average quote cost) for paint and finishing of fenders due to edges/surface issues.
I hear every provider has issues but man it's tough

and adding to this thread my 2013 with 124k miles just started experiencing this. Was driving on the highway and it downshifted, dash showed a wrench and speedometer and all other info disappeared. Gear is stuck in 3rd. Took it...
I don't remember paying a grand all at the end of the day for mine, I think it was about $600 or so but I mainly wanted to do it for the wheel since I liked it over the gen1 more so than the paddle shifters.
Looking to sell some stock fenders from a 2013 Tuxedo Black SCREW.
This will include the driver and passenger side with flares
Check picture below as this is what's being sold.
$300 pickup only, located in Torrance.
Please DM if interested
kinda surprising they are still having issues like this that showed its head in the gen2 series. I would keep an eye on it to see if this happens again.
Update:
I ripped this shit out and was about to toss it into the trash lol. Realized I could still return it. Unit just got into a constant reboot cycle. Even after reset with paper clip. Going back to my old radio and will just add sync 3
Recently got my PX6 Android 9 installed and had issues out the gate.
Got all the MCU and simple can and other file updated.
The main thing I have now is car play echo, so when I call people they hear a a massive echo.
This is all installed on a 2013 Screw with aftermarket amp and speakers...
2017 currently at the shop, 14k miles.
Been having clunky and funny shifts, only the first 3k was very smooth.
Dealer currently has the truck and are replacing the valve body, should have the truck tomorrow or Friday to see if it actually fixed it.
They did that too, even tried to buy my Raptor at 10k

While you are correct, I think I paid in total like $65k for my raptor (not including tax) so an extra $5k for my current 2017 isn't too bad
I called around alot to different Dealerships. The city of Industry kept saying they were not sure of the markup. So I passed on them, every other place said $10k except Santa Monica Ford which was $5k, that was the lowest I was able to find in socal.
Yep still available
