Happened to my 2012 Scab. Was having a smoke outside while the truck warmed up (remote start) and the rear passenger side exploded. Was maybe in the 20s, not even that cold really. Ford wouldn't cover it, had to use my insurance.

Bringing this back form the dead... Driver side lights up for a split second then cuts. Grounds are solid, thinking it has to be harness/relay driven. Did the new harness fix everyone's issues in this thread? I think I bought my kit from Dawson in 2014 sometime, so not sure what harness I got...

Master Reset worked for a couple days, now it's just back to what it was doing... Defaulting to Line In, No Autoplay, couldn't even get AUX to register at all yesterday, had to turn the truck off then back on. Anyway the USB port could just work like the Line In port? Meaning no fancy Sync...

Hi Shaay, Bad link, no longer available. I need to read up on the Master Reset. Have a Trip set for oil change intervals, radio and satellite stations programmed, etc. I imagine it resets EVERYTHING?

Worked great for most of the trip, then I downloaded some new music off of iTunes... Now Autoplay is unavailable, it defaults to Line in instead of USB every time, sometimes Indexes, but most of the times shows 'Initializing'... There were a few times where it just wouldn't work, had to...

USB. Prefer the sound strength/quality and the charging. Looks like the NAV guys don't have issues, appears to be the older non-NAV sync units. I'm in the process of using the SYNC My iTunes application to see if that makes a difference.

Are you guys using the Apple Music ish that was released with IOS 8.4?

2012, and my ford or whatever the website is says I have the latest and greatest version of Sync (Sync V4.4 and Gen1 - 4.2.1.4). Don't use Sync for texting, wasn't aware there was an issue...

Don't update to IOS 8.4 if you still wish to use Sync... It worked half of yesterday but now just freezes. A Google search confirmed widespread issues w/ non-nav, older Sync (2012 in my case). Owner.Ford.Com shows I'm up to date with Sync software. Maybe Crystal will see this thread and...

Can't tell you how many times I have watched this video and shown others. Even had to download the song because it was stuck in my head. EXCELLENT job on the video. Would easily relieve me of $30k if I had it to spend.

Was very pleased to actually hear the 6.2 now. Still trips me out that the exhaust diameter for the 6.2 is so small. The car in the pic above has a full 3inch side exit exhaust on it and it's only a 2.4 liter! Although, the car has quite a bit of forced induction... hehe...

Stock exhaust was not fun to remove...
