Im curious what the rpm will be while driving at highway speeds. In my limited experience it seems like as they make transmisions with more gears the rpm at highway speeds stays about the same, and all the extra gears are there more to help with city driving? I understand its not good to have...
I know it wouldn't give an exact cost differance to steel but they should have hit a chevy and ram in the exact places and seen what it cost to repair. That would atleast give a cost comparison to the other makers. Maybe it costs more to repair but is more robust. I was surprissed that it...
I know its an old thread, but I just bought some oem ones and they do stick out a considerable distance further. So much so that I am taking them back because you could easily get a channel locks of pipe wrench on them and spin them off.
I got the factory spray in liner on mine. I think it looks done pretty well except they don't spray the bottom of the tailgate that is only exposed when it's open, or down the backside of the bed across from there. This is very poor of them. The two trucks that my family has that have the line...
I just received my new screw raptor and have a couple questions and first impressions. I only drove it once so far which was about a 60 mile trip home from the dealer. First off I was very impressed at how good the truck looks. The drive home was a mix of 55mph "county roads" and freeway. I...
After an almost four month wait my beautiful blue flame screw is home. A big thanks to Blood and Crystal for all the updates to help the time go quicker.
Seen a blue flame screw with bed side graphics on the new vehicle hauler in south Milwaukee Wisconsin, yesterday. There will be a happy person in the area soon. Almost thought it was mine for a minute till I seen the graphics. Ohh well the eta is a week away so hopefully soon.
I don't know were in the Midwest you're from, but here in Wisconsin it is not written like that on the sales forms. You are protected from a price increase unless it is specifically agreed and documented at the time of the sale on your sales form. I looked back on the sales forms from the last...
I ordered mine on November 13, it was built last Tuesday. I called SVT on Friday and they said they wouldn't have an eta to my dealer here in Wisconsin till sometime this week. Your not alone but it will be here before we know it.
Ordered 12-13 built on 3-18 Called SVT yesterday and they said its built but they can't give me an eta to the dealer till probably next week.

I thought I read somewhere on here that customer orders are protected against price increases even to the dealer. I don't see how a dealer could charge you more than what was agreed at the time of ordering. I guess I will find out in a couple weeks when mine arrives at the dealer.
:big_banana_Dance: Was able to print my window sticker today. It is going to be built next Tuesday the 18th. Thanks again to Blood and the others on this site for helping make the over 3 month wait a little easier. Now I just hope it isn't caught up in shipping for too long.
Good for you. I'm in the same situation. The dealer I ordered my raptor from is over an hour away also. The dealers near where I live including the one I bought my gt500 from didn't want to budge off of msrp. In fact a year after I bought the Shelby I wanted to buy a fusion at the end of the...
I don't know if this still works, but when I was looking for a fusion a few years back the dealer info would show up on the window sticker after you printed it out. It was not there when you viewed it on the ford website but would be on the bottom were the shipping information is after it was...
If or when they do come out with the next gen raptor the dealers will be gouging on price for the first couple years on top of the normal production price increase.
They are model #861 They are great lights, I think there somewhere around 860,000 candlelight power each. You can see a deer in the road from over a mile away with them. Really makes driving the empty "country" roads a lot safer. Really wish they would have used stainless rivets on them...
I have used the KC 8" HID's for 5 years now, and besides using carbon steel rivets on an otherwise all stainless light have had no problems. They light right up even in sub-zero temperatures every time.
I am going to finance a portion of my raptor and the dealer told me not to do the finance paper work till after the truck is built. The interest rate will only be locked in for 30 days, so that's the reason to wait. I do have very good credit and have bought vehicles from them before so that...
I have the Line X on my current FX4 and really like it. It is ten years old and has not faded or chipped, still looks like it is new. My only complaint is that they did remove the bed bolts when they sprayed it, and tightened down over the top of the liner. These liners even ten years later...
