Most gen2 tunes and tune discussions seem to be about getting the most power out of these trucks but what’s the go to for some power increases but best for a daily driver? Mainly I need a tune so I can adjust for 37’s. Any experience with the 5star daily street? That was my favorite gen1 tune.

So whats the deal is Cobb the best or total shit? Hard to tell whats what when every other person says the love/hate it....

This is about the reply I expected. Hopefully people don’t take your blind advice and research for themselves. I’ve tuned before and will tune again, but if you aren’t fully prepared to blow up an engine and pay to fix it out of your pocket you’re an idiot. Likely? Not at all. But it is possible.

Tune will 100% void your power train warranty. It may not void the warranty on your AC compressor but they sure as hell won’t cover anything related to the tune. Don’t spread bad info that could cost people tens of thousands. Not cool.

Gen1 rear end leads me to believe this is a power train mule and we won’t be seeing anything built on this platform.

Has anyone with a tune had a problem having their cam phasers replaced under warranty?

I feel like aftermarket fenders with stock rake will look really odd. Why not just get some collars along with them?

I don’t think i’d use Z flash with a gen1, they warn it’ll burn out your HID’s quick. I was going to get one for my ‘17 Navigator until I saw that.

If it’s not a completely redesigned system, and they just basically added the capability to set it at any speed I don’t even think I’d want stop and go. My 18 goes full idiot anywhere but on the highways.

Should have been sideways to help the intake from sucking in the warmer air going out the side vents or at least that’s one theory I’ve heard for it being there. Most people just toss it after getting fenders.
