Take it off. I had a similar experience with that same wrap that was put on my truck. Installer did a ****** job and the wrap looked bad. I took it home and took it off. 30 minutes and then a quick rebuff and all is good. A heat gun or some hot sunlight is your friend and makes it even easier.

I drove 500 miles this weekend after only the shock was replaced on Friday. Squeak is gone. I asked the Service Manager to use the ears before replacing it and the shock was much noisier than the rest of the suspension. It was the only change, outside if the reassembly and torquing of everything.

Add another one to the list. Had right front replaced yesterday at 8300 mi. We will see how long it stays quite.

I mounted the faceplate in the media bin and the radio on a ram mount under the passenger seat for my Kenwood HAM. Not as many good mounting options on the Gen 3 for those of us that want everything out of sight when not in use.

Tune up and fix the mounts. Check the u joints. Use it as an opportunity to clean up that motor, fix any minor leaks, water pump etc. 6.2 should last 500k if you change the oil every 5k and don’t overrev it.

I’m on the fence still having a reliable Gen1 that I love. It will really depend on the range it will have. They should put a couple gas tanks on it with about 45-50 gallons of capacity as an option. It would make it hard to resist.

I did the same, only I added one in the middle of the bed to help with tying down items that only take half the bed width like coolers and recovery gear boxes. It has held up well for over 5 years other than the paint wearing off them. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
