We do a lot of traveling in our truck and the one thing we need is a better way to deal with a flat tire. After doing a search on battery powered impact wrenches both here and on-line stores I decided to go big or go home and picked up a Ingersoll Rand W7150. Yes, this is slightly overkill...
Might be larger than what you're after and more expensive but take a look at Truck Vault. I just got one a couple weeks ago and now have a man crush on it. Two lockable drawers that are weather resistant and you can put several hundred pounds on top of it. Just a thought...
My '14 arrived June this year and just got back from a 2500 trip to Moab and the Grand Canyon and now have well over 22000 miles on the truck. One of the best road trucks I've ever enjoyed so my suggestion is like others and say drive it and stop worrying about the mileage.
Normally I shy away from moonroofs however I've had no problems with either the 2011 or the 2014 replacement. I'm also 6-9, plenty of leg and head room.
I've been seeing a few while in Jackson Hole the past couple weeks. A white one passed on the 191 heading north and flash lights and we've seen a couple black raptors in and around Jackson WY and in Yellowstone, 2-with a light bar in front one with an open bed the other a topper. So far I seem...
I'd go to the Uhaul place you'll be renting the trailer from and bring your truck. Do it way before you'll actually rent it. Talk with them about what size trailer you need and let them walk you around what you'll need to safely get the move done. Unless they are complete assholes it's in...
I changed over to the spline just shortly after picking up the truck. I also found a black wheel lock that I put on as well. I've got close to 2k mileage now and no problems. These were offered by my parts department but I found I could get them cheaper. I installed them my self using a air...
Went to Car Max and was offered $34k for my 2011 Raptor with just under 77,000miles. My dealer beat that by 500 plus I saved almost 2k in sales tax on the '14 Raptor. Might have gotten better but in the long run I happy as a pig in....:burnout:
I had almost 77k on my '11 Raptor when I traded it last week for a '14 SE. The shocks never gave me problem. Had to replace both heating elements in the front seats but that's another story...
Depends on the dealer and how well you know them or they you. I would think a dealer would be more willing to work with a known customer than one off the street. All that goes out the window if you never actually make the call. In fact I wouldn't call if the dealer was close by instead I'd go...
I ordered mine Jan 15th before the price increase. Got the DORA and contract the same day. Monday (June 2nd) took delivery at the same price I ordered back in Jan. The dealer explained that while the price did go up it was after the order was placed and that will be reimbursed from Ford for...
I screwed up. I got the lugs from SDHQ Offroad (link above) they fit perfectly. I'm using the same lock I had used on the '11 until the new black ones get here later today. The black locks I did order from Amazon link is here.
I'll post a couple of shots of the wheels just as soon as I...
Ordered a set off Amazon. Installed them this morning and have to say made a huge difference. I took the set of locks off the old one before trading and decided to order a set of black locks too. They come tomorrow and will see about posting a picture. Must have mod for the SE wheels!
138 days from the date I ordered it to the date I pick it up (Jan 15 - June 2). Not so long a wait now that's it over but hell going through it. The phone guys at SVT were great to deal with. Even though I wanted to call them twice a day I didn't instead once or twice a week as it got closer...
I'm going on about 18-weeks now. The truck is in Phoenix just waiting for a transport to take it here in Tucson. Maybe tomorrow but it looks like next week instead.
