Hey,pirate. Did you have this in your overflow tank as well ? Mine seems a bit different, as in the coolant was clean. Was that pic taken when hot / warm ? My pics were taken when it was cold as in over night below 0'c or 25'F.
Brought it in yesterday and they have no idea what it is nor have they seen anything like it.This stuff is almost wax like with no smell. They pressure tested the system and it's all good,so they cleaned it all up ( I hope ) and flushed the system. They are certain it's not motor oil or trans...
Poking around today, I noticed this slime in the overflow tank and some in the filler neck. Any ideas wtf it's from ? Will be stopping by the stealership to see what they have to say but I'm assuming this ain't normal. Btw its a 2010 6.2 with 22K miles .
Not the response I was hoping for.So basically, buy from me but if you have a problem than you need to deal with someone else ? A smart businessman would have said: I'll take care of this. Am I out of line here ?
The mystery has been solved.Take a look @ the red/black plugs, one hanging low is correct the other not .I guess this is what you get from minimum wage.:bs:
Yeah....So..I retraced all the wiring (totally sober this time ..LOL ) and couldn't find anything wrong. It's either the plug it self or may be a cold solder joint? I sent a Pm to James from Alt offroad .
Found this on 3bay. $432 bucks free shipping for lucky bustards in the US.
