Never been more excited to spend this much money. Ordered a Whipple Stage 2 kit, traction bars, and boost gauge. Wanted to thank Jim III for being very helpful and answering all my questions over several weeks before pulling the trigger. The next 4 weeks will be tough waiting for my blower...
I really appreciate the info MTF. I actually wanted the Whipple but my driving habits had me leaning towards the Roush. I will most likely lean towards the stage 2 Whipple. Will definitely upgrade the leaf springs.
I just turned 5k on my 2014 and looking to SC. From all the information and disinformation I've sifted thru over the last month I was hoping some of you guys who are more knowledgeable can confirm some observations.
Comparing the Whipple and Roush 650 JDM kits:
Roush performs better low and...

As far as mods, I have done the exhaust and really like the Roll X I installed. I am looking at doing a 40" light bar in the grill and Nav TV. I probably won't do anything else for a while but the more time I spend...
The truck was trashed when it was delivered to the dealership. It was coated in salt and brine. We have an incredible detail shop here in town so I took it there and then had some pics taken. Let me know what you guys think.
I don't think there is anything different about the delivery. Mine was delivered from the rail yard by transport with other vehicles waiting to be delivered. It was on the top of the hauler. I would think it would be a bitch to get it in and out from the bottom.
I followed the updates as it checked in at rail stations and was fortunate that the terminal was only 13 miles from the dealer. It arrived late Sunday night and the transport company took it to the dealer on the Tuesday load. It took about 2-1/2 weeks to get from Dearborn.
I think some colors would hurt resale more than others would help. I think a color that appeals to more people would be more desirable for a dealer to put more money in to a trade or attract more potential buyers.
According to PPG currently it would be:
1.White
2.(tie) Silver and Black...
Wondering if anyone has any experience with this cover. Priced between the costs of the soft tri folds and the hard tri folds. I am looking for a cover with no tracks or drain lines but had concerns with water getting between the panels at the seals. Seems the TonnoPro fixed that with...
How often does the railroad update their delivery schedule to Ford? Truck is on a rail car and delivery window has been pushed back once. I'm trying to set up my schedule to be in town the week it is supposed to be delivered but I don't want to keep calling dealership or SVT every couple days...
I thought about the same thing when deciding to order mine. I think a couple things that will help keep the Raptor's depreciation curve a lot flatter than a standard F150 is 1. Exclusivity- Even if it turns out they make a lot more 2014's it will still be low volume compared to any other model...
I had an Undercover SE for 2 years on my Lariat before I ordered my Raptor. I cannot say how it would perform off road but I can say it is very durable and well built. I think the ABS would hold up better than fiberglass and when I shopped them against each other it is much lighter but can...
I have a red S2000 I use to drive back and forth to the golf course on nice days. I just picked it up from Chase on Friday. The paint was in good shape but 8 years old. Insane made it look new. He has pics of it on his FB page. You will be very pleased with his new car pkg. I'm having the...
