Looking for any ideas.
I've had my truck in to the dealer twice already for the four wheel drive grinding. So far they've replaced the hubs, IWE, and did the replacement/relocation of the vacuum hose. When driving after using four wheel drive it will make a sound like a metal collar being...
I'm on mid perch with the stock shocks and I have no rubbing except when at full lock and turning at 30ish+. They really are great in the mud, have gotten stuck in one spot with a Polaris Ranger and my truck through the same spot didn't even struggle.
I'm glad you revived the thread MILRTME
I've been trying to get around to doing mine but I still haven't had much time to sit down and do it. I'm now thinking of doing the same pieces you did in 3M's "Deep Black," which is more of a dark matte gray.
How much vinyl did you buy and was it enough?
I've been wanting a roof rack for some tim and this one definitely looks good. But dang, that's really expensive for a roof rack... And having to pay more for them to leave out a part for the sunroof...
Find the fuse for the camera and see if it's blown. If not then check to see if it's actually connected. I'm sure there's a thread on how to check that or a video somewhere.
I don't think it's dry rotting as much as stress fractures. Mine did the same thing as I'm sure many other people's on here have. If it's not on the sidewall I would say it's because of the stress on the knobs. I don't think it'll cause a problem though.
Has anyone here tried to wrap any of the dash trim (around the nav screen and shifter) themselves? Are there any cons to using vinyl to do this? Should I see about hydrodipping?
I was kinda thinking I'd dry doing a brown/tan (like FDE) and black, but I've never really wrapped anything in...
Thanks for the tip, I regrounded the wire and it's still flickering. This probably means the inverter is poop or the wire I tapped into is a low voltage wire.

Okay, so I guess everyone has their stupid days...
Just installed some DIY cup holder lights that another member on here had a thread about using EL wire and an EL inverter. After tapping into a blue and black wire (20 guage) that came from the shifter, the lights flicker as if they're not getting enough voltage. I don't have a multimeter to...
I think that sounds about right. I think I paid about 1600 for mine with the tire warranty at Discount Tire. Just a forewarning: don't let them put on the tire with a bead lock ring or anything like that. Discount didn't take mine off and they got pretty severely scratched. Also apparently they...
Pretty good. They're louder than the stock BFG's and they decrease the MPG by about 2 but that's all expected. They dig a good amount in sand at lower speeds but when you get up to speed they're good. Also something to note is they throw a ton of rocks. The spacing in the treads are big enough...
Look at the actual tread widths, I think the Toyo MTs are 14" and the STT pro is 13.something for the 12.50. With the offset you shouldn't really have to worry about it
Does anyone have any suggestions on the type of inverter to get? I've been trying to find one that would work but haven't had any luck. The OP's post of the picture of the inverter he used isn't showing up.
I did my bed lights myself and used some 5050 SMD LEDs off of Amazon. So far have been working really well. Only thing is the switch I used is going out
