It's the factory not the dealership that assigns estimated delivery dates. If you have a build date, there's likely a estimated delivery day/week assigned. Mine was build on May 16th and delivered on the 20th (just outside Chicago).

More than likely you can get a substantually better price on a Ford ESP from one of the dealerships that specialize in selling them over the internet. I picked up a 7year/60K premiumcare with a $50 deductable for $760. This compares to the $1,180 offered by my dealership for the same ESP.

Hopefully the "waiting for transport" doesn't drag on too long. If your transport is by convoy (truck) it should be at the dealership soon (once shipped). Rail seem to be more of a crapshoot.

Your dealer should be able to give you a good idea of when the order will be pulled. Otherwise call Ford Care and ask them to look into it. I'd at least find out when it will be pulled before canceling.

I think so. Ford is still using it as the only "black" paint option on the 2011 Ranger. If you can find a black Ranger in a dealer's lot that should give you an idea of the appearance.

Thanks Randy. I believe UA was the standard black used prior to 2010 on most Ford vehicles. Better than flat black I guess.
