    Dreaded 4x4 popping and disengaging

I'm not understanding this..... The problem he is having is in 4 wheel drive NOT grinding in 2 wheel drive as if there were a vac leak like your thread is talking about, your thread states if you put it in 4 wheel drive the noise goes away correct? The truck releases vacuum to engage 4 wheel...

    Power Steering Rack Leak

Go to a different dealer, the dealer in my town gets on the same way, so I go a half hour out of town to another dealer were service is great and don't question anything. And as for the rack it's not uncommon to leak I've heard of a few with the same issue. My truck is going in the shop in a...

This is what I built, there is a medium size action packer tote between the two vp gas cans, and if I remove the spouts from them and put one of the spares underneath I can run my bed cover.

Powercore air filter on AFE cai

Yea I was very disappointed seeing they claim it a 100,000 mile filter and I never made it to nowhere near half of that. Not sure it can take the off road abuse, May last forever on a street queen.

    Magnefine Inline Power Steering Filter

The big line on the res is suction which is 3/4 and the small line is the return which I believe is 3/8. If you have the filter on the small line it's on the return side after the rack

Powercore air filter on AFE cai

I ran one of these and it never lasted me a year. Filtration was great but after a while the filter element started to to go soft and collapsed it was starting to be sucked up into the boot and eventually tore away from the boot, I still have the filter in my garage I will dig it out and post...

    Dreaded 4x4 popping and disengaging

If it's only grinding in 4 wheel drive it not due to cracked vacuum lines or loss of vacuum, the truck uses vacuum to disengage the hubs to be in 2 wheel drive.

which bump stop kit did you go with???

I don't understand why people think there something wrong with the pinch style vs the the style bolted from the top? All that holds the RPG bump in is the nut on the top if that nut were to come loose what happens to the bump?, and all the force is put on that top cap when they go into...

    Fox's with DSC vs Icon's

Iv been through everything many times other then pulling shocks off and checking them, it's not caused by ruts it can be a small bump or dip in the road, suspension becomes unsettled and just rebound on spring it only at high speed nearing 100mph will on it, back out of it and it quits get on it...

    Fox's with DSC vs Icon's

Yea I will be ordering the shocks with the DSC, I'm guessing fox will have them valved softer then the none DSC shocks, other wise the adjustments would be useless, don't need to be super soft but I was thinking the standard valving should be in the middle of the adjustment range to have softer...

    Fox's with DSC vs Icon's

I guess stick with what you know..... I ran fox on one of my race quads and never had a issue, I know icon has a lot of really good technology in there shocks but not so tried and tested as fox for sure.

    Fox's with DSC vs Icon's

I can rebuild my stockers I have two pairs of fronts, just need to take it to the next level always pushing them to there limit, so I will keep the stockers and rebuild them for winter use and use the 3.0's for everything else.

    Fox's with DSC vs Icon's

I been told I can have them in 2 weeks and that only normal shipping time, so was thinking someone must have ran them by now.

    Fox's with DSC vs Icon's

So I'm in bad need of shocks, all four are shot and I'm basically riding on springs with very little dampening. They are that bad that the truck goes into a speed wobble near 100mph when going in or out of ruts in the road, suspension becomes unsettled and truck starts to shake side to side...
