Just wondering for those of you that have done this upgrade, is the kicker sub pretty much plug-and-play with the exception of the additional power wire? Looking into this, but don't want to mess anything up as I'm not the most audio savvy person around.

Has anyone tied these into their reverse lights (hitch wires) in addition to an aux switch? Just wondering if that would cause a problem, as I'm not an electrician. I would like them on when I reverse, but have the option to turn them on anytime I may need them.

RaptorSCrew - how did these hold up in our MN winter? I live up in the Metro area and am installing mine this weekend, but was wondering if there is any problem with the snow/ice build up that people like to "kick" out of the wheel wells.
