Geisers, Deaver +3s, RPG Bumps and 37s (Pics)

Deaver +2 spring eliminates the 2” block and keeps truck stock height. Deaver +3 eliminates the block and lifts truck 1 inch. Front springs only require an alignment after installing. Yes factory shocks are fine. If you go with Deaver +3 you should install these...

Fender Modification to run 37's with 1.5" Collars

My bad. I remember looking at those. One of the few with any positive offset, but still over an inch out from stock. I think a +17 wheel would be perfect for looks and top fender clearance.

Fender Modification to run 37's with 1.5" Collars

It will hit. I’ve seen it happen. Travel vs clearance. Cool video. You can see why the truck comes with +34 offset wheels on 35s to stay inside the fenders. Also shows how the IFS travel path moves the tires out during travel until the LCA is horizontal. Also shows how bad the stock rear leafs...

Fender Modification to run 37's with 1.5" Collars

I’m not “assuming” 0 offset, his wheels are 0 offset, which happens to also be, for some reason, what most aftermarket 17 wheels that fit a raptor come as. I would love to find a good looking +20 - +30 offset wheel ... but they’re not made.

You can probably make the truck not rub turning, but you can’t make the truck not hit the fender flare (with 0mm offset wheels) if you plan to off road aggressively. 37s are a looks mod, not all that functional unless you change fenders. But if you never plan to flex the truck or have hard...

Fender Modification to run 37's with 1.5" Collars

Looks really good for clearing the rear fender rub, best I’ve seen, but with 0 offset wheels the 37s will still come up into your fender flare if you take a suspension hit with the wheels turned at all, thus the need for aftermarket fenders. I do like the look of 37s, but per SVC and TMX in...

All leaf springs rust. Spray them with Amzoil hd metal protector once a year. I spray everything under my trucks with it. https://www.amsoil.com/shop/by-product/other-products/cleaners-and-protectants/heavy-duty-metal-protector/

No shift .. springs have always been better than collars. There weren’t good springs available until the Geisers and now the new Eibach. The 2.25 collars will lift your truck more than the Eibachs.

The Deavers are a tall stack with more thin leafs. I think the icons have more of a chance of sagging over time. If all you want is 1” there’s no need to get the icons with an add a leaf.

The spring doesn’t cause any kind of “clunk” sound. You probably don’t have the lower shock bolt torqued tight enough ... it’s 400 ft lbs Compare the icons to the Deaver +3 .... I prefer the Deavers. Also don’t count on the Front springs settling much at all.

You’re not being negetive, you just like it really soft, I couldn’t stand how soft it was. Everyone is different.

It’s not just being a little stiffer that helps the rear end so much, it’s taking out the stupid 2” block and nearly flat leaf spring that causes wheel hop and axle wrap, and replacing with a full arch spring. I did the Deaver +3 in order to get the inch lift to level the truck, but if I hadn’t...

Yes. Level is actually with the rear gap 3/4 -1” more than the front.

That’s interesting that you don’t like the ride. I really prefer the slightly stiffer ride with my Eibachs and Deavers. The truck drives much more planted IMO. I thought the stock ride was way too squishy with too much body roll and nose dive. The stock leaf springs and block just suck when...

FYI Having the same fender gap front and rear is not a true level truck. It will be slightly front end high.

Does that include the alignment ? Alignment will run you 100-$150. If it does 5 hours is probably about right. If they have done it before it shouldn’t take them more than and a few hours per side. I could probably do it in an hour per side now if I really went fast, but I also have a lift...

It’s the same spring for a 18 and 19. It just doesn’t lift the 19 as much.

Revalving oem shocks for Geiser springs

We run a full King external bypass setup on another desert truck and I’m well aware of their capability is as well. But good luck trying to slow your rebound all the way down, but only when it’s coming off full compression.

Revalving oem shocks for Geiser springs

I’ve raced off road bikes since I was 16 and I’m old now lol ... you weren’t talking about changing your compression, which yes is a hard and soft ... or “light” adjustment ... rebound is simply a speed adjustment. On a bike you don’t just change fork springs or cartridges and revalve the...

Revalving oem shocks for Geiser springs

In your posts you said you want “max” rebound damping at full bump, and that the stock rebound is too “light” ? I don’t know what you mean by “light” but I assume you mean you want to slow down the rebound speed, since rebound adjustment speeds up or slows down the rebound stroke. You can’t...
