Does anyone have an image of the instrument cluster with all the symbols lit up? I had something go on on the lower right hand corner while on the highway today then it went off and I can’t find the symbol anywhere. Looked similar to stability control but it wasnt that exactly.
Sorry for the tardy reply.
Same part number. My guess is like everything Ford got a bad batch from a supplier and won’t know if you got one till it’s installed. The good news is I have not had the same issue again and have had a lot of cycles
Got the fuel pump replaced last week. Been waiting for more cycles to give a full report but so far so good.
They also seemingly took care of my exhaust rattle. Replaced a big piece of the exhaust including catalytic converter
I see that occasionally too. It’s pretty rare though. The issue there is more the programming in DRLs. They are so bright now people think they sometimes have headlamps on. DRLs should deactivate when it’s dark.
Having the inability to start the truck without headlights on is a miss. There...
Good idea but not what im looking for. I just want to be able to choose how my truck starts up. Lights on or off. Like every other Raptor I’ve had and every other vehicle. Even my Volvo let’s you choose and they are super automated
I’m the same. I’ve also noticed it more when the tank is around 3/4 full or more which is what led my tech to believe it may be a similar issue to the 7.3s
No. It’s an issue.
My dealer is going to try a new fuel pump first. The 7.3s have a similar problem and that’s the fix. I was thinking it might the fuel tables not compensating for a warm engine.
Never does it on cold starts. Only when at operating temp
Yep. Happens when the truck is warm or at operating temp. Something I’ve noticed is it happens more when fuel tank is full versus say down a 1/4 tank, but I don’t have enough data points to confirm that. My guess is the fuel tables need to be tuned differently for when the truck is warm vs cold.
Been a while since posting here. Searched through the forum and didn’t find anything. Is fake engine noise with the R confirmed and if so does anyone have the forscan code readily available? TIA
