Yep as mentioned by Haynes the DOT/SAE fog lights have a nice cutoff and are much better for on road driving as far not blinding other drivers and also being able to see. You could also keep your spots and just get one pair of the DOT lights and run them on separate switches so you can still...

Regarding the lens color, we offer a yellow lens as well and definitely agree that yellow is more effective in the fog. I personally think the amber looks better though :). For a rear facing dust light, amber or blue works well.

Looks like you already found some but if anyone is looking in the future our NiteLine series is primarily black.

i've used the Aurora version of this light in the past and it worked well. Now we carry bars that have both rows as amber or white instead of just top row amber and bottom row white.

I have amber lenses for them, works well. We use the tracker pod right now with amber lens for our dust light.
