I can get a longer one for you, how long do you want to to be exactly? The stud should extend almost exactly the length of the stock Antenna already?

We'll definitely check it out. This one is just better. You don't need it really, but when you use one you will probably see why people want them. It looks good, and it is easier to use.

This is the downstem for the oil pan on a 6.2L Raptor with our new Dipstick installed. Because of all the bends in the tube, the stainless 'spring' we use for the length of the stick is perfect.

It's pretty odd to hear it degrade over time. An issue with length could be solved by removing the thread from the bullet. I would even send you a new one if you like. Take the thread out and then put it into the truck first, then put the bullet onto the thread by hand, maybe that will help...

No one wants to drill without being sure, I can't blame them.

We have some instructions for you guys. The photos are not our best work, but the document is live. So, if anyone wants to submit better shots of anything we'd be happy to update the instructions like a wiki for future installers.

Looks like solid work. I agree, nothing like some Yankee ingenuity. I have no doubts that the wooden pedal will hold up for you, and I like the tread modification you made to it. Really turned out nice.
