I finally got around to posting pictures of the repainted roof. Before and After pics. It only took them 7 days. Plus they have not replaced the wheel flare yet. They said they have the flare but Ford has not approved it yet. Crystal can you find out why it hasn't been approved?

I would think scheduling 11 days in advance would be enough time.

Called dealership today the 22nd after taking truck to them on the 19th. Was told then 2 days. They tell me they are going to paint it today the 22nd. I'm thinking what happened to the 2 days. So now I have to drive this POS loaner dodge caravan the F'N weekend. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Only one way of finding out, take it to your dealership. Take pictures that show something in the way of the reflection of the paint. Like I did with the beer cans.

Scheduled for repair on the 19th, I'll show new paint job pictures for roof after it's done. So far I'm satisfied with the response with ford and dealship. Truth will be after the painting.

Ford has approved the repairs at this time. Now awaiting scheduling by dealership.

Try drilling out with a left handed drill bit same dia. as T45 then use ez-out extractor. should come out providing not to much lock-tite. In that case slightly heat with propane torch. Bring heat up slowly to crystalize and break down lock-tite without damage to surface.

Ouch, You've got a bigger problem then me. First with the contamination and then the paint sags in the base coat. The blue and the metallic are sprayed at the same time. I'm surprised paint inspection did not catch this. If we sent something like that out of our paint system where I work Ford...

To answer your question on who generates the number on the DORA " Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement". It's simple, Ford is giving the Dealer a receipt for acknowledging they received the dealers order and here is a number to put with it. So Ford gives the number.
