Hey guys, used to be super active on the forums, still have raptors and still love them. Working on building my action/motorsports drone videography business and I thought you guys might like this one!
Kinda sloppy because I had no warning and only a lap and a half but still kinda fun:)
Let me...
I have been running a set of the 37s for a while, still stand behind my original opinion of these tires in my review here: Tire Review: Toyo Open Country R/T - race-deZert.com
My '14 that saw much the same kind of off-roading as you describe here did just fine on mid perch with the geiser...
I had the Falken Wildpeaks before, and they were good tires except for the 4 trips to tire shops trying to get them balanced.
Haha you are right, I've gotten some rain time in since writing the article. It works for me because absolutely love drifting around on wet roads even though it's...
Hey everyone,
I haven't been around as much lately but I wanted to share this article that was recently released. I got a chance to test a set of the new R/Ts for RDC and I really love them.

Toyo is one of the most well established tire...
At mid perch there is going to be some rubbing if you hit a bump while reversing at full lock, and I wouldn't bottom out the front end all the way without trimming the flares and addressing the pinch weld. I couldn't see any rubbing during normal street driving but I don't run mid perch so...
Is there any reason to hope they might offer a tt 5.0 as an option?
The EB will probably be just fine, just hope that the throttle is nice and responsive. It was always going this direction!
Oh and awesome about 3.0 foxs, to people saying they aren't the same as the race shocks....NO SHIT...
Fwiw Wassy, it took me 3 (4?) trips to the tire shop to have them balance/re-balance before I got a weight/luck set up that worked for me and didn't have vibration. This was with Wildpeaks.
It's hard unless you know you have a good shop. I was ready to trash the tires!
First teaser trailer for XP1K2 dropped yesterday, check it out if you've got a minute. Come out to Camp RZR in October too! Will have my truck out there and rzrs etc etc. Plus XP1K2 will be premiered and it is gonna be nuts

Not particularly Raptor related but I know a bunch of you may have seen the end of XP1K, here's what that landing looked like.
RJ put his feet through the floor of the RZR on that first attempt!

Stock leafs, stock everything else, this is a new truck. Other news, with 37" wildpeaks I still haven't rubbed. Too chicken to offroad until I get a chance to do some trimming.
Pics! Progressive spring on mid perch. I thought it was more nose high than it is based on the pictures, i still...
Its definitely a liiitle nose high, I'll post some pictures or make a build thread tonight. Stiffer on the highway but just in general transfers a ton more road feel. Fine if you have smooth roads but they are destroyed where I live right now so its kind of annoying. Im sure I'll get used to...
Do it and let us know. Just did the progressive springs at mid perch still trying to see if I like it. Ride is miles away better than the stock springs on top perch but still a little stiffer than I'd ideally like. love the looks though!
Doing the progressive spring install tomorrow morning on a '14 with ~6000 miles on it. Would really like to do mid perch (ending up top-perch-ish height) but I'm still a little apprehensive. I will only be using 4 wheel drive in relative emergencies, is there any reason there'd be problems on a...
Looks like it will be an awesome build! please share pictures along the way. Also please please dont run the fabtech lift! SDHQ or Rogue will set you up with something much better
No prob, I keep that diagram around cause its easy to get mixed up with front/back space and pos/neg offset.
The stockers will tuck, camber goes negative at bump and the top of the tire "tucks" in. The flare has a lip that extends into the wheel well a little, you can cut this to gain some...
