If you want to go with matte black then the wrap is a better way to go then paint. Less maintenance and way cheaper. I had my GT500 painted matte black and it cost about $6K and its a biyatch as far as maintenance goes.
love the matte finish but it is a royal PITA to maintain. No waxing, no clearcoat and every little scratch is easily seen. Great on a show car/truck, but a maintenance whore for a street vehicle.
I would do it again on my SuperCab if the wife didn't kill me after doing it to my GT500.
My GT500 gets plenty of attention for just its appearance. Add to that my need for speed and I figured I needed as big an edge as I could find. I didn't want to be out tech'd by the law.
If you are one of the folks coming out to Shelbyfest, I'll take you for a ride and you can see what...
I have both and they are different types of fun. When I feel the need to drop the hammer on a ricer all I need to do is drive the GT500 and some tool will come looking for trouble.
The Raptor just begs to be taken off road and run hard. It does however get a lot of looks on the road as it...
The 9500Ci is a nice system and I run it in my GT500 as part of a layered multi component system I have in my car along with a Valentine V1 and a Laser Interceptor HP Quad set-up.
That is one seriously badass setup BO. Looks like I need to deploy again for some mod money for the Raptor.
and to think I told the wife the Raptor wouldn't be getting modded like the GT500 has
Ordered mine on 18 October and picked it up 17 February.
The wait sucked but I was deployed to the Middle East for three months so I had something else to occupy my time.
I have to swap the photos from my pc to my Macbook first and I am not at my house tonight. Will have it done in the AM when I get home.
Here is a pic of my Shelby to hold you over until morning.
