I need to get an alignment done on my Gen-2. I made an appoint at Les Schwab and their machine can't raise a stock Raptor high enough to adjust the caster. Anyone know a local shop that can do Raptors?
I am with you and load range "E" tires on a 1/2 ton. I just replaced my factory K02's with a MT Baja Boss A/T in a load range "D". I can definitely feel the difference.
I picked mine up today. As expected they are wrong. Some cheap Malaysian brand 235-50-18. They must of had P/N's crossed up in their system. The suck part is, I had them shipped to my office (free shipping) so I had to return them to a Walmart store. They would not do return shipping...
Spot on. In anything other than deep fresh loose snow winter tires are far superior to an A/T tire. My KO2's worked OK until the snow was hard pack and then they got sketchy. Add studs to these winter tires and icy conditions are no longer a concern.
I found this deal on the Bronco forum. It seems too good to be true. For the price I couldn't pass it up. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Nokian-H...5-70R17-121-118Q-D-Light-Truck-Tire/257962680
A little follow up. Tires are mounted and so far so good. Just road miles so far. They took very little weight to balance. Very quiet compared to the KO2's with 30k miles. We are supposed to get some rain this weekend so I will see how they do in the wet. Thumbs up so far.
Looking for feedback on the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T's. Anyone running them? My BFG's are getting thin and these look like a good candidate as a replacement.
Sadly, both my SXV and Tuono are gone. Sold both after having a surgery that left me unable to ride. Probably the only reason I still have a license. lol
I also have a Wildtrak on order. The last report I saw was that Ford is only able to fill 35% of the Tow Pack orders. I have not heard about an indefinite hold but I do know the Tow Pack is a hold up. I plan to keep the Tow Pack on my order as I am not in a hurry at this point. I will also...
For sure. I had two issues with mine. First was the rear shock blew the seals out. Second was the cylinder blew out the base gasket. That one was interesting as it was sucking in air and created a runaway motor situation. Immediately it went to full throttle and the kill switch wouldn't...
The engines were a total nightmare. You were smart to avoid them. They either worked great or were garbage. I was lucky and scored a good one. The casting were extremely bad. So porous that oil would seep through the aluminum casting into the water jackets. 220 lbs and 70hp was a hoot.
