Ordered mine at MSRP as well; it is my dealers policy, they price nothing above MSRP, even the specialty vehicles. Some dealerships apparently have values and don’t feel the need to take advantage more than they already are. They are out there, just have to find them. There really is no need to...
Can someone confirm that the first one to know about production scheduling would be the dealership? I.e. are they informed that the allocation is ready to be scheduled and then they pick which customer gets picked up?
I can’t help but feel that the avalanche color with the decals, looks like angel or bird wings, which is not cool lol. They don’t have as much of that appearance on the blue or darker colors, but maybe it’s just me. I think the decals should be shaped differently either way.
Assuming that you have an order and your dealer had a legitimate allocation that you received, I’ve seen it mentioned a few times, but is there confirmation that August 18th is the date to watch for the production scheduling email?
Do you know if it’s first come first served once the dealer does submit your order and you get an email? I.e. if the dealer takes 100 orders but gets one allocation, does it go to the first one entered or does the dealer select which one gets it?
Not sure if my thinking is out if pure paranoia or not, but I’m thinking more money/options = greater chance it gets built. It is possible though that the opposite is true, since it may be easier to spit out trucks with less options. ♂️
I agree, I am getting zero answers on how to order. A few say that have one allocation and it’s already gone, even though I had been there last week and they knew nothing about it. SMH the process feels corrupt to me.
