Is this a problem? (noticed it when cleaning roof yesterday)...

Thanks for the feeback. Yeah, it annoys me. Just not sure what its purpose is in order to determine how much aggravation I want to deal with fighting for a warranty repair. Here is another (better) picture of the imperfection.

Is this a problem? (noticed it when cleaning roof yesterday)...

Not sure if this is a problem or not but noticed this abnormality on the roof. No idea what the proper name for it is but its the metal that runs next to where the top of door shuts. Doesnt meet the door, about an inch in. I posted the abnormal looking (is it a weld?) and circled in red. Its...

Tire Pressure Monitor System Warning error on '21

Surprisingly went to dealer as a 'waiter'. They finished in about 2 hours. Front left TPMS battery dead, replaced with new one (warranty). Also had the software update on the trailer relay module. Anyone know how long it takes for FordPass to show the recall was complete and remove from my...

Tire Pressure Monitor System Warning error on '21

Had this message pop on dash today. It also appears in FordPass. Looks like its coming from front left since all the other tires are showing proper pressure. Front left has proper pressure as well. Anyone have this happen? Guess I will need to make a lovely trek to the dealership...

PAINT ALL GREY TRIMS TO MATCH BODY COR

That's the thing about opinions. Everyone has one. Everyone should do what you want, it's your truck. I just happen to be of the 'opinion' that color matching doesn't look good. To each his own, as they say @TheGreatPumpkin . Cheers.

PAINT ALL GREY TRIMS TO MATCH BODY COR

Agreed. Buddy of mine did it to his Agate Black. He has some regrets now as it looks like the Sport trim.

Ford ESP - Post your real world experiences

Thanks @WireNutz - that's what I was able to interpret based on the various info out there as well. Do you know when they hit you with the extra fee upon purchase if I were to commit to keeping over the 36k? I thought i also ready if car is over a year old/12k miles, you pay a one-time fee...

Ford ESP - Post your real world experiences

Hi all - apologies in advance if this question is answered somewhere. I searched the threads (there are many) on the Ford ESP's. My question is simple: - Is there anywhere that documents what the Ford ESP (minus the maintenance plans and wear/tear) covers the the factory 3 year/36k doesn't...

    Looking For Creative Bike Mounts

Oh ****, OP. My bad, I didn't notice you mentioned that in original post. My opinion? Assuming no QR axle upfront, I will guess it's a lower end bike (not trying to insult, just from experience). If you are enjoying biking and think this is going to continue, I highly recommend considering...

    Looking For Creative Bike Mounts

2 bike tights for $10 a piece. Mount to a 2x12 laying around that fits the width of bed. Works perfectly, been doing it for years. Maybe $30 all-in and you can keep in bed or throw in garage when not using. You can even add front wheel mounts if you want those mounted also while in transit...

New Gen 3 issue-random window roll down

You are the man @FordTechOne - always appreciate your assistance. Thank you! I wonder if this might become an OTA update like recall 22S17 (trailer brake control)? Just received updated letter from Ford today that the re-program on that one can be done at home via automatic updates. Again...

Hi All, Bumping this thread as I couldnt find any more relevant info. This is happening to me now on my GEN3 '21 only 7k miles. Roll up window and once it hits top it immediately goes back down 3-4 inches. I tried holding the up button until it hits top and it still happens. Anyone else...

    Wait!! What!!?? Plastic Drain Plug...?

The best part was when the manager claimed to have checked if it was plastic or not, came back all confident swearing it was. So I checked when I got home to confirm; the guy was so damn lazy and didn't event look under the plate. Back to getting my hands dirty.....

    Wait!! What!!?? Plastic Drain Plug...?

Several local oil change specialty shops (i.e. Valvoline) wont work on Ford's that have the plastic drain plug. Apparently their techs can easily over-tighten, break the seal and people call them next day with oil all over their driveway.
