The right way to install GEN 2 Shocks on a GEN 1!

That’s true, but then you don’t have a way to actuate the valve unless you go e-click. And in that case, you’re probably at the same price as a factory race series 3.0 kit

Should have no issues with aftermarket tie rod clearances and also the Gen 1 geiser springs. Seems to be most are running geisers over stock springs. Thanks!!!

Some guys run external bypass rears as well. Either way a 3.0” bypass shock internal or external is the way to go. Externals are a bit better off road

BTW, this truck is running Geisers up front, Deaver +3’s in the rears and +2 drop shackles.

Just an update - one of our customers went BIG at a raptor run recently with our 3.0 Kit! Going this hard takes some talent with any setup so definitely do so at your own risk. With that said, what we’re hearing from this customer it has been performing flawlessly after weeks of repeated...

We do not personally as I cannot afford to carry the inventory of all the potential replacement parts that might be needed during a full rebuild. However, a forum sponsor Brian Diede/Shocks by Hammer should be a solid 1-stop shop for rebuild and installation. I believe he’s running our hardware...

We have been getting it out of both the fronts and rears, but admittedly on the rears we did add a nitrogen Schrader to check pressures and top it off once a year.

Collars are compatible with our setup if you want to get the top perch configuration! Considering you start with mid perch as configured, I would expect you would only need a small collar to get up to the equivalent top perch height.

Just finished up a set for a customer (minus the bushings) and they really turned out great. This is the first set we’ve built up without our logos and we’re digging the clean look. Moving forward, we’ll give everyone the option to decide if they do or do not want laser etched lower bodies.

We did some durability testing, both real-world on vehicle and accelerated durability on a shock dynamometer to compare the 2.5” and 3.0” designs. From a damping perspective, our 3.0” package is lasting 5-6x longer than the standard 2.5 setup on an accelerated durability dyno test. In terms...

The challenge will be to get enough people to make the costs reasonable. If there is enough interest, we could likely make this work without having to modify the shock towers.

The right way to install GEN 2 Shocks on a GEN 1!

I am assuming you are referring to making live valve take-offs work for a Gen 1 truck. It currently only works for the 17-18 hardware. Live valve shocks have a smaller main piston (2 1/8 vs. 2 1/4) and would also require a unique base valve. For the additional cost of trying to make a live...

I’m a bit new to video editing but let me see what we can come up with! In the meantime, we’re still taking orders for conversion kits. Even though we’re still waiting on more material to come in, the $5 deposit will ensure you keep your place in line. thanks Doug

Unfortunately this is for just one. Still doing 20% off for Forum members so a conversion set for a pair of fronts will be just under $600. I’ve gotten this question a few times so I will go back and update the website offering a pair with the correct pricing for a pair.
