Did you check if unplugging the factory mirror threw any codes? Or have any other unintended consequences? I saw some people online saying the sensors on the factory mirror effect the auto-glare headlights feature and the auto-dimming on the side mirrors too. Also, does it work as a mirror when...

I would think it should be either a simple Forscan or coding change because the buttons are already linked to the Sync system. I just dont know how todo any of that so, I am hoping someone who does will figure it out and let us know.
